It's amazing how this message board can flip after one win. Last week posts of gloom and doom abounded and now there are posts talking about winning the division. This what makes it fun though. It always starts with a win but there has to be more than that. If we can beat Cinci, then I'll begin to start believing there could be an avenue to go where it was hard to imagine we could be able to go. Now, bring on the Bungals and see which direction we're heading to next. JMO>

The win against the Saints was a preview of how this team could be. Winning the division? I'm not so euphoric.

They just beat a 3-6 team. A solid win for sure. Lets see what they can do against the bungles first.

It was good to see Pickett improve, no picks and only throwing 30 times.

A rejuvenated Najee Harris. The run game was churning.

The best the O Line has played as far as opening lanes for the run.

And Watt. What he brings is without parallel. What's sad is this defense takes a major step backwards without him.

I've always thought Qbs should never have to throw it more than 38 times a game. I'm not saying You can't win that way....I just believe it's a way more balanced, and harder defending a team if You don’t , or don't have to.

Think Steelers get their record to 7-10 at best.

Which is more respectable and probably puts them drafting in the low to mid teens.

But, over the next 3 games if they would some how win those out put them at .500 going into playing the Ravens at home dec. 11th it could be interesting.

But they pretty much have to do that to even take them serious.

Saints team is terrible they aren't good. Offense still can't score, no splash plays, they did run the ball better.
Defense played great but its Andy Dalton and a terrible Saints team. If the Saints really wanted to try to win the play Winston.

Think they are going after a QB in draft.

I agree. It's a step in the right direction but the Saints were heavily injured and playing on a short week.

Yea it's pretty amazing. Can we just enjoy a win, even from a team with deeper issues than ours? Cincy may bury us next week, as a divisional rival we may play well just for the pride. Each week has bought out some whacky performance all over the league. Bottom line I just want to see improvement among individuals. Hell if we lose and play tight it's OK, if we win cuz Cincy stinks up the joint ok..it's not the end of the world either way.

Yea I’m with you there they pretty much need to win the next 3 get to 6-6 and hope maybe the Ravens drop one game in the next 3 weeks to either the Panthers at home at the Jags, and home against Denver. If that happens Steelers go into that game 6-6 to the Ravens 8-4 and if they win that game they would be 7-6 to the Ravens 8-5 and one game back with games against the Panthers and Raiders up next. So a lot still needs to happen but it at least makes the Bengals game more interesting this week and if they win that game you can really start to think about them getting to 6-6.
