What's Cookin? want some beads edition

well we are back after a long week of no stiller football. yes we are still doing the friday edition. i bought ribs and chicken drumsticks with sauce this time. bought a half gallon at a bar-b-que joint. not usually a wet ribs guy but they were good for a change of pace and going to use the hopefully magic sauce for a steeler win this week. next week is the wedding weekend of my youngest son so catered food will be on tap. also my 33rd wedding anniversary will be the day of the rehearsal dinner. see i remembered.

I've been invited to a Friendsgiving party where there will be about 40+ Bengals fans and me in my Hines Ward jersey (Bengals Bye Week). I'd wear my Roehtlisberger jersey but I get really sick of all the comments so I'll take my Ward Jersey instead. 4 turkeys, 2 hams and a ton of sides with deserts. They already know if they don't put the game on then I aint going. I'm sure I'll still hear at least a hundred "Who Deys".

No. LoL. I'm running low on fish in the freezer until around spring. I eat fish for breakfast almost 3 times a week.....so I need to slack off on the fish. LoL

 

2 words. ice fishing.

 

LoL. I hate to Ice Fish.
I still have bad memories of it with My father. I believe it's the only time I've ever fished, and have actually hated it.

I like fish but for breakfast?

I enjoy a great flounder, sea bass, Tilapia, and Mahi Mahi for dinner but if I'm eating fish for breakfast it would be like eating a Carp from the Ohio River.

Probably very similar I make a shrimp andouille chicken jambalaya that’s very good

Finding andouille in NW PA is a challenge but I found a butcher not real far from me that occasionally makes it

 

Fish for breakfast? The only times I've done this were, when camping, fresh trout cooked in bacon grease! Also, a guy I used to work for would want some form of seafood as long as it was no more than a few hours from the water. So, shrimp or lobster omelets and, a favorite of mine, Sierra Mackerel in bacon grease and eggs!

 

Now your talking Bama! I believe I will re-create what I call Gumbolaya - soupier than Jambalaya but not as much as Gumbo. I throw in every seafood and land animal meat I can retrieve from my freezer and go to town.
