Every time I see crap like this it hurts me to my core. The Steelers are a laughingstock, a pansy of a football team, the team you want to play in your homecoming game, on par with the Detroit Lions, maybe worse. I suffered through some of the 80s teams but none of them were this bad. This team is historically bad. In fact, we haven’t been this bad in half a century. I know the Tomlin apologists will attack me for this but who cares. This ALL happened under his leadership. I understand that teams will have off years, but this team has devolved into a crap show and one of the worst teams over the last decade. It’s time for Tomlin to go. But you know and I know that Tomlin won’t go until he’s good and ready to go. I don’t think he’s capable of turning the team around and if Rooney insists on keeping him for the long haul he’d dang sure better be taking ALL personnel decisions, coach and player, away from the lone purview of Tomlin and get him some help. He’s steered this team into the ditch and he’s going to need plenty of help to get out of it! B4F90F97-F594-4867-B258-D08E94CC597E.jpeg

Philadelphia fans watched their Pro soccer and baseball teams lose the Championships on the same night.

I was out in the crowds and it was wonderful watching them changing their sweaters!

I was going to respond that I fully agree but then strummerfan would send me a box of tissues. He probably spends a lot of time washing and waxing Mikes vehicles in order to afford bulk loads every week that we watch this train wreck of a team.

The Sky is Falling! We might get Watt back next week vs Saints. Relax. Steelers are not as bad as their record. And for the record...I want Tomlin fired too.

When your good your not as good as you think you are and when your bad your not as bad as you think you are. But in this case with Canada's offense yes they are really that bad.
Looks like they have very little depth in some key areas mainly offensive and defensive lines .

All teams go through this eventually. The league is designed that way.

So underperforming for the last decade and being critical of the regime that’s overseen the failures makes a fan soft? Oh I forgot, Tomlin’s never had a losing record. It’s not really even about our abysmal performance this season, Glenn. We really haven’t been competitive for a long while now. We’ve totally crapped the bed in our last several playoff appearances and now we’re an easy win on everyone’s schedule. Again, why does pointing this out and criticizing Tomlin and his mostly pathetic coaching hires make one soft. Admittedly, we may be a little spoiled as Steeler fans, especially those of us whose foundations as fans was built during the Steel Curtain years in the 70s, but soft because we’re critical of underperformance? I don’t get it.

But what do we have to be happy for the last 10-12 years, all under Coach Cliche? Tomlin’s streak of non-losing seasons brought to us courtesy of Big Ben?

We’re almost always in the running to make the playoffs. That in itself is competitive football. Some Steelers fans are soft, spoiled, entitled and lack the ability to deal with adversity.

What did the KC fans have to look forward to before Pat Mahomes????

What really hurts is that I already know that the first play of our next game will be a run.

But do you really believe Tomlin can have a team prepared from top to bottom in all phases of the game to be successful in a playoff game? So the competitiveness is an illusion, somewhat in garbage time like when A-Rod would hit a homerun when the yankees were up 8-0. Our playoff records in the last decade blows.

You mean those playoff games where Tim Tebow carved us up, where Blake Bortles destroyed us, where the Cleveland Turds jumped out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter at Heinz Field, and where the Chiefs demonstrated for the world to see the competitive gap between the Steelers and the Chiefs? Those playoffs? Whoopee, we snuck into the playoffs by the skin of our teeth or with help from other teams and then got destroyed once we got there. The name calling is ridiculous and just because a fan points out the reality of the team’s current state doesn’t make them soft.

Alex Smith was a pretty good game manager and made them somewhat competitive. But I don’t think even the Chiefs knew they had a once in a generation talent like Mahomes when they drafted him. But I’ll tell you this, he landed with the best HC he could’ve landed with in Andy Reid who’s an offensive minded coach. I don’t trust Tomlin with Pickett at all. I just hope we can get the right OC in there to work with him after this season. And it shouldn’t be Tomlin’s choice.

Some of these fans need to take some self help therapy.
