No, I wholeheartedly don't believe what needs to change can change keeping the status quo. I'll just leave it at that.

That stretch play they run with Najee might be our best run play we have been running all year. It usually goes for about 5 yards when they run it.

I'm not sure if it is a stretch or just a traditional sweep, but for some reason it works?

Kind of a sad sign when our "best play" gets us 5 yards lol. Then again, in this horizontal offense 5 yards is like 25 yards in a modern NFL offense.

Starks said something interesting today. He said Naj likes running behind a fullback because he did it in college.

I'm wondering if we could work some of that in?

I am guessing Najee isn't healthy still and should probably have been sat for longer.

Etienne put up big numbers for the Jaguars again today. I brought this up a week ago, but I think it bears repeating. Maye it wasn't such a bad idea taking a running back. Maybe they just took the wrong one.

Etienne is electric, a really good player. I still wouldn’t pick a running back in the spot the Steelers were in. They needed offensive line or secondary.

I think with Ben coming back for a final run they wanted to give the running game a shot in the arm and they thought Najee could be a quick fix, they were never going to fix the OLine in one offseason. I can’t think why else they would have done it.

I don’t think you can take a running back in the first round at this stage. I’m struggling to think of a single team that have done it in recent years that wouldn’t like to have the pick back. Maybe the Jags like Etienne now but how long will that last.

Warren runs a lot harder, Najee doesn’t. Shame that losing brings this character out of Najee.
