Agreed. Seeing him dance and not plow ahead for the 1st down was particularly brutal given how special he is physically.

I'm not giving up on him yet. He needs a serious run blocking OLine and he could be great. Anything but and he will be a bust.

That's not sounding like a future elite qb. The elite qbs are the guys who when everything isn't going right they still can succeed. There's plenty of guys if everything was lined up perfectly they'd be successful.

Elite QB's don't need everything to be right to succeed. Quite the opposite actually. RB's usually do. As an analyst I'd think you'd get that.

    3. Alualu’s failed comeback. I knew he was long in the tooth, but I let myself believe he had a couple good years left.

    2. Dotson’s below the line play. After his rookie year I thought he would be a player. I knew Moore was not good so no expectations there.

    1. Watt injury. That wrecked everything defensively.

    Honorable mentions:
Not starting Pickett after the Thursday night game which would have given him 10 days of first string reps.
    Injuries in the secondary.
    Canada’s offense
Roquan Smith going to the Ravens instead of the Steelers.

We knew the OL was gonna be hot garbage so no surprise. That said Najee hasn't done squat. The highest paid D getting owned every week is up there. Canada's scheme and play calling is a joke. It all falls on Tomlins shoulders.

    Biggest disappointment?

The ineptness of the offense was kinda expected after the retirement of Ben.

Overall? It would have to be the horrible Defense....the most expensive Bottom feeders in the NFL....now known as the famous Steeler Sieves.

I've put all my Steelers emotions in neutral until Tomlin is gone. I don't know if he's the problem but it's a start. To me, the games are more enjoyable than 8-8 Steelers seasons for some reason. Maybe it's less expectations and a new QB, whether it's KP or someone else (who isn't Tribusky) and eventually a new coach.

Play of the defense of when TJ is on the field vs when he's not on the field. This defense is very overpaid and very overrated. Since Nov of last year this defense has given up 35+ six or more times. They even given up 35ish a few times with him in the line-up last year.

Canada. Last year I was kinda led to believe at least part of the problem was Ben and Canada’s system was decent and would work. Just really disappointed in the reality of the playcalling it’s bad

D Line and defense as a whole, Tuitt retiring, Alualu done, Wallace inconsistent, Watt down for a large part of the season. Thought the D could carry the team; wrong.

    Probably Myles Jack.

I thought he’d be much more disruptive.

Najee had an incredible Oline to run behind at Alabama and was very successful with a 6 yard average. The Steelers Oline is terrible at Run Blocking and he is struggling to get 3 yards or more per carry.

Nice one you desert rat:) One thing we know for a fact the Pirates will never happen. The market is to small for any owner to shell out what it takes to have a Playoff team. MLB revenue sharing means the BUCS will always be run by a businessman. Now I have no idea what the future holds for Pens and Steelers but I'm a true believer the almighty dollar is going to have a HUGE effect on all Pittsburgh sports and not in a good way.

The unfortunate ability to have a run game, this must change. The defense with TJ Watt out,
    Overall play of our secondary.

The lack of quality attention to OL and their play again this year.

Roster full of nobody's at ILB

    No real #1 WR

    No real #1 CB
