I wonder what the chances are of him playing against the eagles

Let's be for real, it's not in the Steelers blood to just give up on a season. Watt will be back and Canada will likely be fired. We may or may not like this; it is what it is. If we were striving for draft picks, I'd imagine this front office more open to trades

If you want to root for a team that tanks, then I suggest you root for the Lions or Jaguars, the Steelers don't tank.

If the Steelers beat the Eagles they're still in the race for the division :hehehe:, the Bengals will be without Jamar Chase for 4-6 weeks, and if the Ravens lose tonight vs the Bucs the Steelers will only be one game back.

Looking at the records the Eagles look like they are leading the best division in NFL. Probably is best in NFC. Right now NFC looks like a 2 maybe 3 horse race. AFC looking tougher. Assume most think Buffalo/KC but come Playoff time the AFC should have some remarkable games. Still a ways to go and so much can change.

Right now I'm enjoying the Packers losing a bit. And getting a kick out of the 5-2 Jets. Since Tommy boy left that division it sure looks different.

My first thought was ok give me 2 or 3 as a commission and I will handle this

Everything you guys say is valid. Here's what I am looking at.

    Eagles 38 Lions 35
    Eagles 24 Vikings 7
    Eagles 24 Commanders 8
    Eagles 29 Jags 21
    Eagles 20 Cards 17
    Eagles 26 Cowboys 17

This team has scored over 30 points once this season and that was against the Lions. Look at the teams they beat. They aren't exactly playing the Chiefs and the Bills week in and week out.

The Steelers may very well win this game. Like I said, I think we are all over-rating the Eagles a little bit.

I think the Steelers can win this game. The odds are we won’t, but I’m going to head into the prediction thread and pick the Steelers. I just need to figure out what score to predict.

A few weeks back when we were 1-3 and one of our gloomers predicted 1-7 at the bye, I said we’ll win 2 of the 4 and tease the fans before losing some games in the second half of the season that we “should” win. I figured Tampa and either Miami or Philly. Well…. I guess it has to be Philly.

I actually picked the Eagles in the prediction thread, but I am thinking about changing my pick.

It's just a gut feeling, but I think the Steelers pull this out. I felt the same way about Tampa Bay.

The Steelers defend Lamar Jackson better than just about anyone. I think they can do the same with Hurts. If Watt does play then I really like the Steelers chances.

They only scored over 20 points once, 23 against the bungles.

The guy on the left will have it figured out though, jet sweep mama

It's the offense that is the problem. If they kick a FG, we're in serious kimshu. JMO>

I think we can beat Philly. Just like we beat the bills first game last year. Positive thinking my friends.

The Eagles are a terrible matchup for the Steelers. They are very strong on both lines. Losing Ogunjobi makes it even more likely the Eagles' offense will be able to win it on the ground. Losing Boswell makes it even less likely that the Steelers will do any better scoring points than they have so far this season. Watt's return, if it happens, would help even the odds a little, but they are going to need an absolute stinker by Philadelphia to win.

No :poopy: Sherlock, Baltimore will probably win it, they already have wins over the Browns and Bengals. And they have an easy stretch of games coming up.
