We are quickly approaching the halfway mark to the season. How many TDS has our current WR core scored?

    Try something, anything?

What concerns me is, wasn't he all healed up before preseason started? Did he already have an issue that lingered and knocked him out before 1st preseason game? What will be different going into preseason next year. (I am not knocking his size, just curious as to not playing all year). Feels like we keep getting kicked in the balls all the time. JMO>

I'm not saying His size will affect Him, but How many great 161 pound players can You name....I can't think of one outside of a kicker.

Why trade Claypool he’s cheap and your not getting anything better in return ? What ? A couple of fourth or fifth rounders since they’ve crushed the draft so much the last few years

    He's even bigger. LoL.
I wasn't trying to be a smart A$$, but I can't think of a player that small being great.....I'm sure I'm missing someone, but 161 pounds is slight on most sports outside of fighting.

That comp pick won't come until 2025.

Not against it at all. It's a gamble id be worth taking if some team offered 2 picks. I doubt we can or will resign Chase. That is assuming he balls out, which is still left to be determined. We see a few catches, then nothing special. Not all his fault, but (and I said it's doubtful), if a team offered something we can use in rebuild Now..as opposed to a maybe comp pick in 2 years..yes you do the deal. Could KC replace Tyreek? They have adapted pretty well. Have no idea what Chase will become, but so far he has been less than stellar. Just saying we are not known for taking gambles to often, but this team needs many upgrades and we have 5 picks next year..perhaps time to roll the dice if there are takers.

Austin isn't some savior for this offense, he missed most of training camp and all of the preseason.

He's up to 170 pounds now, since he won't play this season, he has time to bulk up some more .

Neva said he was, but with the current, ahem, production of our receivers group, I would say give anything a try. You never know…

Some dumb adidi lady on the radio was saying she talked to 2 GMs and supposedly they would only give a 6th for Claypool.

His size could definitely be an issue, but being small doesn't make you more prone to foot injuries. It actually makes them less likely to occur, not more.

I agree. But would like to add, that seeing Omar Kahn do some in season trades would give us a little glimpse of his acumen.

I don’t know I think tiny people are more prone to foot injuries because they have smaller feet bones and are more fragile if they get stepped on. Like a little ant on a hot summer day.

The Steelers would need a coaching staff in order to get him up to speed during the season. The coach in NE has his fifth string guys ready to go if needed. The Steelers can’t even get the starters up to speed let alone a backup.
