Tomlin will have his first losing season for sure. So what? They don't give out rings for never having a losing season. I'm far from an expert but I think we have a winner in Pickett. I do believe the Steelers will be back in the mix next season and like it or not it's going to be with Tomlin as HC. I think Canada dry will be replaced.

 

Steelers will split with the Ravens. If Watt is 100%... we could sweep them.

 

If I'm Watt I take the rest of the year off. Why risk ruining your career with multiple injuries for a lost cause of a season anyway?

 

Watt will play if he's healthy.

What's your official prediction? I think giving the Steelers 5 wins is pretty generous actually given the remaining schedule.

Actually I'd be happy with 4 more losses. Finishing 8-9 would mean we closed out season 6-4 which would be a great start for the future.

I would love if we were 8-8 going into last game. It would be Mike Tomlins Superbowl And I hope it goes into OT. We'd all have some fun with that.

I've never seen Tomlin talk about his winning season streak. He doesn't give a crap.

At this point, I'm just wondering what has cool Mike T done in the past 10 years to warrant ANY kind of confidence in his coaching abilities, and furthermore, how much longer should the Pittsburgh Steelers keep this dude on payroll WITHOUT another Championship...5 more years....10 more years...20 more years...25+ more years?

Yes, we kept the Emperor around too long, but at least he gave us 4 Championships and created a DYNASTY...what has cool Mike done, other than win 1 Championship with a team that was 90% built by Bill Cowher?

If the Steelers pick top 5 next year, They need to pick either CJ Stroud or Bryce Young...A true FRANCHISE QB

If they don't, It's gonna set this organization back years...The same flaws Pickett had at Pitt, are being seen now...1 good year out of 5 in the ACC, who's Defenses gave up 50 ppg ( just " slightly " exaggerated )

4-5 teams drafting ahead of us, needed a starting/ QB of the Future, and DIDN'T take him...For a reason...He ain't it

we have our QB - we are not going to draft another 1st Rd. QB unless Pickett terribly regresses from here. We will fire Canada, draft an OLINE, hire a mature OC, and go from there.

It doesn’t matter where we draft if we can’t win in the trenches the Steelers will suck. The offensive line is terrible. Cam Heyward will be too old or gone before the oline gets rebuilt. In 3 years when we have a horrible oline and dline the season will be worse. The Steelers don’t have a good record of drafting offensive linemen. Yes we hit on a few over 17 years but we probably spent 20 pick’s and got 3 right maybe.

 

He's exactly right, Bill didn't want Ben, but had no choice after the Sh!tstains drafted Kellen Winslow, Jr, er uh, "The Soldier" as he called himself! LOL. Bill Cowher has 1 Championship because he UNDERVALUED the QB position and employed SCRUBS, aka guys like O'Donnell & Korky Stewart, among others. It cost Cowher 2, maybe 3 Championships, too. The defenses and running games he had were AMAZING, to say the least. Not sure why this organization thinks it can win with POS QB play...mind-boggling. It continues to this day, too.

I'm serious, like WTF planet is a guy like Mike Dumblin on when he even bothers to spend money on a POS bust rag-arm dude like Mitch Tribumski, and then brags about it? At least Cowher kept us competitive with superstar talent, which is more than cool Mike T. can do...our current roster & coaching staff is a damn disgrace, and it's all on Dumblin!
