Nah. We may not be what we once were, but the Browns will always be the Browns.

It’s never too late to live a good life. Welcome!

Hmmmm.....I'm not sure what to say to this. I get being a disgruntled Browns fan. They always seem to find a way to blow it. I am just thinking of my friends who are Browns fans.....and them choosing to become a Steeler's fan and, I can honestly say, it would NEVER happen. Regardless, welcome to Steeler's country if you choose to come aboard.

I still have a hard time believing that the OP is serious. I also can't see abandoning a team after 40 years because they keep screwing up. I can see thinking that seeing them sell their collective souls to build around Watson is so disgusting that you can't root for the team any more, but even that is odd. The Browns have been celebrating Jim Brown forever and his history of abusive behavior toward women is disgraceful.

Biscuit Word in Fayetteville is always my first stop on the way to the beach

Ishould reach there about 8 am Saturday

I get the Mountaineer and my dogs get the Mary B

At the next stop in NC the first thing I have to do when I get out of the car is dusts the crumbs off of me

    We'll consider it but..

    A) Go behind the Woodshed and have STD slap you around for awhile...
    B) No Hall privileges per Glenn for 1 calendar year...
    C) Buy us Wings and PBR ( the good stuff for this year's games )
    D) We'll have our finest watching you for 1 year...You have to wear Steelers gear everywhere, including around your in laws and friends...

THEN... We'll take a vote and consider it...

    We'll be ...

    :brownssuck:

To be honest ... if I was sincere and wanted to be a Steelers fan. I would've never come on this board ... asking for permission. You didn't ask for permission ... after, the original browns left town. You stated that you were following the Steelers, until the league, brought in another browns team. But, with all that being said ... Welcome! And trust me, if you are a fraud(troll), you will stick out ... like a sore thumb. You are already arriving with a target on your back ... lol

I despise when fans become gatekeepers, so I say if you want to be a Steelers fan, be a Steelers fan, and don't think twice about what anyone else thinks.

My question to you would be if Watson still has his Houston form, are you going to hop back on the Browns bandwagon, because if that's the case, then you're better off in the football talk with other fans section..... I'm always up for a healthy debate

Hiding under a mountaineering moniker...highly suspicious. If his real name is Hatfield watch out! But can't give him shame for having a Jim Brown throw back..hell if I has to thats probably the only one I would own lol

What`s to be disgruntled about? Same old Browns from what I can tell. A tease here and there over the last 50 years they might compete for a Super Bowl. Why stop being a fan now?

I like them just the way they are.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I`m not taking the OP seriously.

Those of us that were old enough to watch Jim Brown play can tell you that he was the greatest of all time. Gayle Sayers, Walter Payton and Barry Sanders were all great but they weren't Jim Brown.

I've seen them all play and none of them compared to Jim Brown. Things were stacked back then too. Lombardi's Packers, Unitas's Colts, George Halas's Bears, Bobby Layne's Lions, the 49ers who had 4 HOF's in their backfield. I know it is a shock to the youngsters but the NFL existed prior to the Superbowl era.

Brown was about as perfect a running back as you can find. He was huge for his time. At 230 pounds, he was bigger than many of the linemen of his era, so he was often able to just run over everybody. He was also incredibly fast for his size and elusive. He was also tough, aggressive, and intelligent. There were no flaws in his game. He also faced defenses that were built to stop the run. The game was far more run-oriented back then.

I just think it is important to remember that in addition to being arguably the greatest running back of all time, Brown is a lousy human being with a long history of abusive behavior toward women.
