In case anyone is curious. It’s not illegal to buy these jerseys, but it is illegal to sell them.

My Hoge jersey was spelled right when it was ordered then they added a D. Thankfully my mom was able to cut the name plate and sew it back on. Looks good to me and for 25bucks I'm not complaining.

Some good alternatives listed to the overpriced 'official' stuff. I have a handful of legacy ones that I either bought or were gifted that all came from a store rack somewhere. Hell, the Woodson one I have has his name in white! I will probably never buy another players jersey. I was young and stupid in 97' when I bought my last one, a Yancey Thigpen jersey only to be burned a few months later after he left in FA for the Oilers. I said then that was it, no more player jerseys. Only jersey I bought since was one of those custom ones they make with my name on the back and my favorite number but haven't worn that in years either (it took a little beating after Larry Fitzgerald broke wide open down the middle to take the lead in the 2008 SB with 2:37 left in the game). Since then it's all Polo's, T-Shirts, or a sweatshirt like in my avatar on the rare day it's cool enough down here in Florida.

There are some on the Steelers.com site (maybe already mentioned and my ADD has caused me to skim past it) @ $159
I'm old and look stupid in a jersey, but I have Lambert (my fav), Bleier, Bradshaw and Ben.
They hang in my closet so that means they are my wife's.

She did buy one (#14 my old number) with my last name on it as a bribe.

A purist would point out: they’re hockey sweaters, not jerseys.

But I’ve far too much class to do that.

True but it's like saying pop because that's what the call it in the Midwest and having east coasters say what's pop? My personal favorite was during the 1st winter classic when Pens fans were talking about Crosby's winter hat and Canadians were like oh you mean his toque. No I mean his cute winter hat. Yeah that's his toque. Well whatever that is his hat is still cute. I literally laughed for days about that.

Because its like buying a classic car. You will keep a classic car like 20 years.

If you buy a new car, you will hate it after 4.5 years and buy another new car.

Works the same way with Jersey sales.

One of my welders walked through the office when she came into interview

When she left he peaked into my office and said “hire her, I don’t even care if she can type”

But I found her by contacting a school that taught administrative assistance and she did have excellent grades (on her school tests)
