So we are coming in this weekend and were able to get a hotel up north in Erie to cut down on the drive from over by Massachusetts.

I have seen older posts but still torn on where to park and when to arrive. Seems Station square might be a good choice and taking the clipper. The Casino looks like a decent option as well am not as worried about the $$. But am leaning towards Station square seems like I might be able to keep the kids occupied a bit before game time.

My questions are, would these be decent locations with sufficient parking and if so how early should I arrive before they are full approximately course.

    Thanks in advance!

Most folks highly recommend your first scenario if arriving by car. I've always stayed Downtown and just walked across the bridge game day morning. Safe trip, have a blast and bring home a W! :thumbs up:

    Edit: Remember - BYOC!

It looks like a nice day so aim for Station Square and the Clipper the kids will like it. Plus less traffic.

Most lots around the stadium are pre sold and those that aren’t sell out early.

Come in early to the stadium and walk your kids around the great hall. Lots of displays to look at along with 6 shiny things.

Thanks for the replies it is much appreciated, seems worst case scenario we miss the boat back and looks like a 30 minute walk back to Station Square

I've found that most hotels have shuttles to the game, and they are available at various times for a couple of hours before game time. So we always just take the hotel shuttle and don't worry about parking. And the last station is right across the street from the stadium, so you won't have far to walk.

Station Square is the way to go, and as Ohio Steeler alluded to, most hotels have Shuttles...

As of the Clipper...Look at the schedule, I believe it runs in 1/2 hour intervals

Wish I had seen this earlier. I just parked downtown, right on Boulevard of the Allies, stopped in Market Square for a pregame meal and took the train across the river. Parking in the city limits is free on Sunday. Finding a spot is the only issue. The train anywhere from Downtown to the North Shore (where the stadiums are) is free of charge as well. Sometimes I will park at a PRT park and ride lot (parking is free) and take the bus into town ($7 all day pass). I did that for the Pitt/Tennessee game. This is not as attractive on Sunday as the routes are fewer then but the busway routes are always frequent.
