Best he's looked since his rookie year. This is what he needs to be. The guy that gets the hard yards, wins the contested catches, and be a threat in the red zone. If he is going to carve out a productive career, he needs to do exactly how he did it today. Congrats to him. Great game.

I just saw some highlights, but I'm happy he finally had a great game.

For some of these guys it's all about effort. Claypool is a beast of a dude. Align it with attitude and you have a great player.

Not sure but I think the only other time was his rookie season against the Eagles. Again not sure.

Happy for Claypool. He really had some clutch catches but I agree it really was a team effort. Hats off to the defense. When we tackle well, or not have a lot of sloppy missed tackles, we look decent. Also, honorable mention goes to the scrappy play of our back up secondary. I thought James Pierre, while he was not perfect, really hustled out there and has shown improvement. Edmunds return helped a lot especially in run defense.

One final note. An honorable mention should go to the football. Had it not bounced forward after hitting the goal post on Boswell kick... I shutter to think. We would have lost and there would be no end to the fire Tomlin threads. So, thank you football for bouncing forward and giving us the win.:prayer:

(Disclaimer, I am not pro or anti Tomlin, just happy we got the win and are still competitive in our division)

I wonder if claypool's reemergence is partly because Mitch wouldn't throw to DJ after the argument, instead threw to claypool.

Cowherd says Green Bay is interested in trading for Claypool. If we do this... we better get their best O-lineman.... or their best CB.

Either we get immediate help for a Claypool trade... or don't do it all, IMO.

He played very well on Sunday. I hope he keeps it up. I do think he’s capable of it.

Honorable mention to Ogunjobi and Cam for dominating inside.

Yeah ....that was one of the so called awesome throws people said Trubisky had....LoL...that I said was all Claypool . I'm always hard on Claypool, but that was a awesome game for Him Sunday, and almost all those passes were terrible for Him.
