Pickett most likely out against the Fins next week. Trubiski starts, if he wins does Tomlin keep him in there as starting qb going forward? Thoughts?

I would go back to Pickett regardless. Just my 2 cents.

I hope Pickett does play.. but you know with the concussion protocol, the NFL is most likely to sit you for at least a game

You are correct Glenn the NFL doesnt have final say. Its up to an independent dr to rule on final decision.

Yeah and I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion that he’ll be held out a game.

Pickett should be OK. He is not old decrepit Ben at age 39.

True, but with what happened to Tua recently, NFL is going to make sure to dot their i’s and cross their t’s before they send someone back on the field too soon.

When you make the change to the rookie, its for the long haul. Pickett starts if healthy for the rest of the season. Trubisky played fine in relief (missed some, but made some nice plays too) and I hope he continues to play well if Pickett is out. We made the change to Pickett, he should (and will) be the starter throughout this season moving forward (while healthy)/

I doubt they bench Pickett if he is able to play next week. If Trubisky does start and plays great, that would be an interesting problem to have, but I still think they should go back to Pickett.

Pickett wasn't great today. Some of that was the plays Canada was calling, but some was him being too locked in on Pickens.

Continue with Pickett as he is the future. One already knows what they have with Mitch. Still unknown with Kenny.

I agree… I think Pickett is our future. Of course there will be growing pains. I cant wait to see Austin at wr, with that speed it might open up the field a little more. Also may help run game.

At this point, you go with Kenny Pickett if healthy. He is the future of this franchise for at least 4 years hopefully he kills it and it's longer

Kenny is the future. Mitch was a band-aide that we finally ripped off.

If you have 2 quarterbacks, you don't have 1.

I'm glad Mitch played great today.

If the docs say Kenny is good to go, then he should play. No need to create a controversy or have him second guess himself. If the docs say he needs a week, then I'm fully behind Mitch playing great again.

This is a tough league, injuries happen, with this offensive line we will probably see more QB injuries this year.
