Mad that we keep getting injuries...

The good news is we had some players step up. Bush and Edmunds played great. Pierre looked fine. Ogunjobi and Heyward were absolute units out there. Jack was solid. OL was fine enough. Claypool came up big. Heyward (the younger) got his hands on the rock and some YAC to boot. All around nice job all things considered. I know not many had high hopes for this one with all the injuries, but they pulled it out.

 

Team showed some moxie this game. Anytime you get a win on Brady even if its not prime Brady is big. Golden opportunity lies ahead with struggling dolphins.

 

Thanks for participating, surely you don't lack that much of a sense of humor. I said it was my favorite kind of thread; can only happen after a win! Come here after any game, win or loss and people will call for coaches to be fired, players to be benched, or bemoan how they are screwing up a pristine draft pick on a year they won't win the Super Bowl. Now, if you do see that but are still negative about it, well then, you sir may have a good night. I can't do nothing for you.

Well I admit my grumpy old ass stands smacked and bcorrected based on how you made you presentation. I made a knee jerk reject that it was another look at me negative thread. I don’t take those well.

I'm just mad I couldn't watch the game had to work. I'm proud of the team today from what I did see.

I'm not sure where to find the stats of who gave up what sacks, but I seem to recall Chuks whiffed on one. If it wasn't a sack it was a pressure. James Daniels went out to block and completely whiffed. Cole had a bad snap. Devon White came from the Defensive right / offensive left for his sack so that wasn't on Dotson. But I agree, Dotson had several penalties and committed a hold that was really a whiff causing Pickett to be knocked out of the game. Furthermore, in the overall O-line performance, there weren't many holes for the runs up the middle. Most success was when they took it outside.

Pickett has proven he can make those throws already. You really don't know what you are talking about.

My biggest complaint?!


Kevin Dotson has played his worst game as a Steeler. For that matter, he has been below average all season. Oddly enough, Dan Moore played arguably his best game to date of the season.


Hopefully Dan Moore can continue to grow and Dotson can rebound.

 

I know. We are only 1 game behind the division leaders with 4 divisional games to play. Math is hard!!!

 

I doubt anyone is mad about a win. I know I don't care how they get there this season, just get there.
