I don't know worked well for the Ravens. Fired that guy mid-season and turned it around.

Great post, and it's only going to intensify with each loss. The Pittsburgh Steelers have 6 Championships, so they know what winning looks like. They also have been in the same division with the Sh!tstains and the Bungles, so they know what losing looks like, too. This anti-Tomlin thing is going to get real, real ugly....and real, real fast, too. It's not just a matter of firing him as it is a matter of figuring out why is he still on our payroll...what is he doing to help us reach our ultimate goal? Look at this roster from top to bottom...this is a disgrace and an embarrassment, IMO. Dumblin needs a change of scenery, and so does Pittsburgh.

Well I think Steelers will let him have his losing seasons and a chance to rebuild. Problem is he may build this team like crap and then bail. 5-10 more years of being a non contender… yay

Canada is an obvious problem. But, so is ilb coach "O"! Tomlin, is not a great evaluator of talent, whether it be players or coaches. Tomlin, never did bring in his own staff. He inherited a superbowl caliber team (players and coaches). If, he was able to retain Wisehunt and Grimm, we probably would have won 3 superbowls under his watch

To me, the worst part about keeping Canada is that I don't think KP will get better under his watch. He may even delay the progress and teach him bad habits.

Pittsburgh needs a change of scenery? That would involve a fair amount of landscaping, surely.

Or just see what Bethesda did to it:

Firing Canada may not fix the defense, but it will certainly help them rest a little bit more. I am sure their at least 10 of us on this board that could call a better game than Canada...and I dont mean that sarcastically.

This would be funnier if I didn't think it was true. At least the Lions have one side of the ball working

Good point. Losing good coaches and coordinators is common in the NFL anyway..if they have a chance to advance their careers they move on. Issue is successful head coaches also attract and bring in younger guys that elevate themselves. Tomlins coaching tree is barren of fruit, I think that speaks volumes.

If KP is going to be this teams long term QB it certainly wouldn’t be good changing OC mid season of his rookie year. However when the OC is as inept as Matt C that can also stunt his growth and development. It’s basically a lose lose situation for KP. One thing is for sure if this offense doesn’t show big time improvement which it’s not Canada has to go after this season. If he is still the coordinator next year

Tomlin had a HOF QB his entire tenure that alone will win you a lot of regular season games. The beginning of his career he inherited other HOF great players that helped greatly with his postseason success. Since those player have retired and Ben started winding down you could see the slow decline happening especially when it came to playoff success. We still won a lot of regular season games because of Ben and the fact we played the Browns and Bengals 4 times every year which was almost like starting a season 4-0 every year. How people are so blinded by Tomlins mirage is fascinating to me but I think most have finally seen the light and know it is time for a change. Unfortunately until Sleepy AR3 realizes this nothing will change unless MT gets burnt out and wants to step away.
