With what's going on with this team right now we better be trading away the farm for draft picks for next year so we can maybe rebuild faster, Yes we will need to rebuild. This season is all but lost right now with no fix in sight it might be are only way to get back. Start with one of our back up QB's either one it doesn't matter then trade Bush. Any others?

That's not going to happen. He will be a UFA next season so he will be gone. Unless the Brainiac's resign him. Can you imagine if that happens :lolol:. This board will have an overload scanners style

there are very few players that we have that others want, that is the SAD truth.

    bush sucks

maybe Claypool, but his value drops by the hour.

Cam is the only one - let him go, let him win.

See when you usually trade to get anything good in value of return you have to maybe give up something that has value.

The Steelers don't have too much to offer in that regard.....

You can't really trade a box of crap for a box of gold.

Teams could be interested in Cam Heyward he maybe get your a 2nd or 3rd.

Maybe they move Larry Ogunjobi for a a 5th rounder or something.

Maybe Chase Claypool for a 6th or 7th, Maybe Rudolph or Mitch for a similar 6th or 7th.

But your not going to see any of it happen. The NFL is not quite MLB with the sellers and buyers at the deadline. A few moves happen but very few....

Unless a team is in dire need huge name trades rarely happen at the nfl deadline. You need cap space..or a team willing to eat chunks of it if the player is already under a huge contract.

If someone is even decent and on the last year of a contract teams evaluate longterm value on compensation draft potential. Nothing is guaranteed, but if you can get a 3 or 4 compensated in 2 years, why trade him for a 6th? I'm sure it's more complicated, while it has happened you just don't see many big nfl deadline trades.

Miami is playing Skylat Tompson, NE Bailey Zappe and Seattle Gino Smith.
Yet, I don’t see any of these teams interested in Mason. Even at rock bottom prices.

    Got any others takers?

I was on bleacher report earlier and now I can t find the link to the article but it clearly shows why we are where we are.
It showed the drafts from maybe 2016 or maybe it started at 2015, anyways in those first two there is not one player on the team now. Dupree and Hargrave are the only notable ones.
But if they drafted better some of the core of the team would be those 5, 6 or 7 year vets. The next few years were almost as bad with only two from 2017 and 3 from 2018.
Watt fell into their lap somehow at 30 but some of the drafts in the last 5,6 or 7 years ago didn t really net us anything.
They are either drafting very poorly or not developing the players they do draft.

Well both Hargrave, and Dupree would be very welcome additions on the team right now.

I agree both Hargrave and Dupree would bring pressure and help the run defense.

Not sure why they let Hargrave walk.

Dupree they knew they had to pay Watt and we were still paying Ben close to 40 mil.

Somebody on here has been criticizing the drafts for a long time and saying they’re setting us years back and here we are :whistley:

2 out of three isn't bad, I replace Edmunds with Mason. Chicago ball is in your court.
