Pickens is just cut from a different cloth than the rest. Plays nasty, love it. Might be the first jersey I get since Woodson.

Give this guy Johnsons volume, 10-12 targets minimum each week and watch him dominate.

This looks to be an awesome second rd pick. Kids so talented even our coaches can’t screw him up.

If it is legal, then he should be open for a 1st down all the time. This will cause db's to play off the line and give him a cushion for a slant or quick hitch

Pickens catches everything and is not afraid of any hit. He’s a cheat code and one of the few bright spots this season. Need to build this team and watch him eat

Im sure he will try his hardest to ruin him but I think this kid is special. AB and Leveon were great players for us under Mike sometimes the talent is just too much. Unfortunately many players do need coached up to reach their full potential.

Really hoping he doesn't go AB on us. He seems to really have a bad temper.

Enjoy him now cause he probably won’t want to sign a 2nd contract here.

Just imagine what an Andy Reid type coach could do with him.

Don’t confuse competitive with temper. Kids got the skills to be a top 5 WR. Right now it’s being wasted.

Maybe Pickens can coach up the other WR's as to how to play the freaking position.

He gets open, he catches the ball, he knows where the 1st down marker is and he is tough to bring down.

    This guy is special.

He knocked him down 1 yard past the line of scrimmage. So, should be legal.

Yea but even a blind squirrel will get some nuts. Doesn't make up for the Jarvis Jones, Devin Bush, Terrell Edmonds, Senquez Golson, Justin Lane, Artie Burns, Sean Davis, Mike Adams.

This team can draft WR's perhaps better than anyone.
It takes more than WR's to win though.

Not sure I agree it's being wasted. In his first full game with Pickett, he was targeted 8 times and had 6 catches for 83 yards. Just because he's not catching touchdowns right now doesn't mean he's being wasted. Give the two some time to gel.

I don't think he's being wasted at all.
He's got a QB who has started 1 career game. Both need time to develop. We also need to improve the OL but honestly, the OL isn't bad. We're actually a very good pass protecting OL. The Steelers have allowed the fewest pressures in the league so far. I understand that time of possession can affect those numbers, but still, we're well above average in that regard. So Pickett is getting time to throw, as did Mitch. The WR's are getting time to run their routes and get open.

This team is far more talented than we are giving it credit for, and far more talented than the play indicates. We do have injuries on the D side, and right now we have quite a few, but every time has injuries and has to overcome them. That's just football.

There's simply no excuse for our putrid play on the offensive side of the ball. The talent is there. The OL is doing their job. The coaches need to put these guys in a position to succeed

Hell and, I know this is going to sound controversial but assuming Pittsburgh continues to lose and be 1-7 at the bye, if I am AR 2, Omar Kahn, Andy Weidl and Mike Tomlin, I would weigh the options on the table. What options specifically?!

Any player that is not within Pittsburgh's long term plans should be fair game. Very non Steeler like and unlikely to happen but some players do warrant some consideration for certain. At this point, acquiring as much draft capital as possible should be paramount as it will take some time for the team to get back to the top echelon of the AFC.

I believe in our "Big Three" of the 22 Class in Pickett, Pickens and Leal. CAIII will get a pass from me for this season and it should not hurt giving Mark Robinson an increased snap count. Rest of the team?!?!.... oof..

Agreed, and I Love the Avatar.....someone loves Eddie VH....,and His Frankenstein guitars. I really Love the Black, and Gold one. My 1st electric was a Kramer with a slanted humbucker, a single volume knob...and a Floyd rose tremolo.....because that's what Eddie was playing then. LoL.
