What happened to the Saturday games after college finishes? I see one on December 22, that's the only one
    What's up with that?

They pretty much phased these out over the last few years. Mostly because of the Thu games, and it gives ESPN times slots to televise the 150 bowl games that they have now.

The only time they had Saturday games was during the playoffs. Like they'd have say an AFC and NFC divisional game on Saturday and the other 2 on Sunday or something. They'll probably still be doing it this year as I never heard it has changed.

Um...no. They used to have games on Saturday all the time, as the OP said. But it has been a few years since they did that. GP, you are probably just too young to remmeber them. ;)

I think about that all the time. I miss them. The way I remember it, they would do a couple towards the end of the season, like around weeks 15 and 16. I'm not a college watcher, so I'm all about putting NFL games on Saturday. God knows putting them on Thursday instead is basically a disaster for both teams, especially the away team. But Thursday is a day with fewer sports, so that's where it goes. Saturday the networks don't need.

Wow, I know guys that don't watch college games, but man some of those games beat the hell out of some of the NFL product!
