Never many trades in the NFL so I will say no.

I realize you were trying to make a joke, but it didn’t hold water.

Rookie Khalil Shakir looks more dangerous imo.

Claypool looks the part really well. It's like eating food prepared by a chef that has a weird aftertaste.

I keep waiting for him to break out and sadly that will probably happen with another team. He'll probably play a couple years after the Steelers being a journeyman and be out of the league with Devin Bush

If they would happen to get offered like a 3rd round or something which I think is unlikely I would trade him. I guess we will see.

Meanwhile make Pickens the starter he needs more targets

Watt waited 3 or 4 weeks into his injury then decided how about I get my knee better. The Steelers paid him and the only time I see him is on the sideline. Trade him for someone that wants on the field

Let’s start by getting rid of everyone’s brother. This isn’t a family picnic

What if he injured it last Sunday while jogging on the sideline?

Do you think that maybe the injury happened during his rehab? Do you think?
Someone get this guy a tissue.

With as many holes as this team has. A haul for TJ Watt wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I thought we were in a rebuild or restructuring phase. Gee pass the popcorn we’re done if this play continues.

They paid him and he turned in a season so great that he was NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

Yeah, this isn't like baseball. Trades in the NFL occur in the offseason or draft. In season trades are nearly non-existent, except for holdouts or players who for whatever reason want out, like Minkah was at Miami.

If we trade DJ, his 2022 cap hit goes from $7.6 million to $19.3 million due to dead money (we’d need $11.7 million of 2022 cap space just to cut him, and would have nothing left after that for the rest of the season). Per OTC we have $8.4 million. It’s not happening.

We would save $600k (before replacement) by trading Claypool. That’s realistic.

I would as well, but while trades have become more common in recent years it's still not common, especially those with huge contracts...which claypool does not have.

Even if it did happen before the season what difference does that make? Maybe he really aggravated it maybe they had to wait for a certain reason that we don’t know about.
