It's a moot point, they aren't going to draft a QB next year even if they got a top 5 pick, I would take Stroud over Young anyway.

 

I would have bet my life on the kid from USC Barkley and the Ohio State QBs from the last 15 or so years.

What crazier is I never saw Allen or Herbert do well either. lol

 

Stroud looks good in college, but Ohio State QBs haven't done much in the NFL.

We have maybe 10 guys of value and 3 of them are Pickett and Pickens, Muth.....Cam, TJ, Minkah. Harris, Leal?

Highsmith might be the best value for both buyer and seller

They better be sellers at this point they have so many holes to be compete against playoff teams I would not even know where to start. If you go by baseball stats and use wins above replacement Steelers probably have only 3 players total

 

I'm not saying they would win, but I'm pretty sure Ohio State could put 28 on the Steelers defense

I don't see anyone special that others would want. You are not going to get anything out of claypool (the most mentioned).

 

Think of what SF traded a few years back to move up from 12 to 3. If we are in the top 4 picks I would certainly be looking to trade out, preferably someone on the top 15 who wants a QB. Start loading up.

 

Yea only chance Cam has at a ring is getting off this dumpster fire of an organization.

 

If a contender like KC calls about Cam Heyward they should definitely let him go (if that’s what he wants in this hypothetical scenario). I’d hate to see him in another uniform but realistically the window is shut for him with the Steelers, and has been for a while tbh, he’ll be washed or retired by the time they are relevant again.

I'd trade DJ and Claypool. DJ just isn't dependable enough and Claypool is stuck in reverse.

The Najee pick doesn't look good right now.

We’re terrible how could we not. 38-3 lose today just shows you we can even come close to hanging with the good teams. Didn’t think we’d be this bad. So, yes we should blow the team up imo.

Only expendable player who can get a decent return like 2nd or 3rd is Claypool imo. Maybe 3rd or 4th for Rudolph if a team is desperate. Maybe a 4th if Heyward wants to chase a Championship.

 

If some team is dumb enough to give up a third for him, I would take it.

 

No team would give up a second for Claypool .
