I don’t know, we’re so bad at this point it’s gonna be hard to enjoy Fake MT or Pittsburgh Dad.

Fake MT should be a hoot.

We got use to winning and being competitive for awhile just like us older members did in the 70's. The road down is hard and it takes some adjusting. Fans talk of the 80's as bad times. Our worse season in the 80's was a 5 win season. 7 of the 10 seasons Steelers were .500 or better. They won two AFCC titles.

The point I'm trying to make is this feels so different. I'm having a hard time seeing a very possible 3-14 Pittsburgh Steeler team. Just don't seem right. Will admit, I use to have great confidence for those at the helm. Now I feel there could be some chinks in the armor.

    Time will tell.

I don’t know but I disagree, Art seems more like he sticks his nose in it. Remember the whole Arians thing, basically Haley was Arts move. And the directives to establish the running game more which Arians didn’t do, hence the path to Haley.

Strange play calling on offense in that it seems for a series or two we see some inventive plays where we move the ball, then the rest of the time we go back to the prevent offense we have seen all year. Why only flashes of smart play calling, then stupid plain vanilla most all the time?

I see potential in time with Kenny in there, but we need more aggressive play calling no matter what. With the skill players we have on offense, there is no excuse for the crap we see. OC has to take the blame.

If there was ever a time Art needs to “stick his nose in it” it’s now.

Don't we wish this would happen! Art II is not a football man like his father was. He has unfortunately given Tomlin the keys to the castle I feel. It's funny how a lot of the minority owners have spoken in favor of replacing Tomlin. Art II did bring Haley in to preserve his investment I will give him that.

Tomlin wants to be the smartest one in the room. That's not a key for success. It seems fragile to me. Being the head man you want your management team to know more or as much as you. Your only as strong as the team you assemble. He has to much power and little to answer for. Maybe Art II will start listening to the other owners. Its also not like Tomlin was hired last year. He has been here for 15 years!

Maybe we are paying back for some wins we got the last couple years were we seemed to win by means of some smoke and mirrors, like that 11-0 start we had before and last year`s 9-7-1 where we played like garbage.

He's deliberately making one of his most consistent players look bad?
How much alcohol was consumed during this game?

    Running game blows.

    Najee may be a bust.

it's one thing to run at AL, it's another in the NFL.

I don't think he has it - a draft bust

It's actually quite simple. Ben always bailed Tomlin out, even when bad coaching nearly gave the SB away against the Cardinals. There are too many Ben bailouts to remember. Now that's gone and we are seeing reality.

There’s plenty of teams playing competitive football with mediocre Qb’s . We had an opportunity to replace a struggling old veteran in Ben. I love Ben but it wasn’t asking for much to just get someone capable of playing better than what Ben was the last 2 seasons. What did we do? Mitch? And then Start Mitch over Kenny? Wth I understand that the kid is a rookie but the obvious difference in Kenny over Mitch is glaringly obvious.

Then consider the fact that there’s been a long list of competitive teams with bad qb’s . There’s no excuse for the poor play all over the field. That’s on Tomlin .

The team lacks talent. Perfect coaching would maybe net a few wins. Regardless this season is a loser.

Austin has dealt a crippling hand post week 1. That said, the lack of blitz packages was concerning even after Watts Injury. Even so, he gets a pass for me.

    Canada?!
