There are a LOT of people around here that I feel like are actively rooting for the Steelers to fail so they can say "I told you so" about a lot of things. Its odd how many "fans" seem to be more excited when things are going bad than when they're going good.

2 late hits on the QB....NO CALL...Not that it would have mattered, but this league only protects CERTAIN QBS

The good news is the dolphins are on their third string qb so we have a shot against them with our pop gun worst offense in the league Canada offense

We’re talking about who the better quarterback is, Pickett or Mitch. Coaches are to blame. So are players and game plans. My comment that you responded to was about who the better quarterback is between Mitch and Kenny. I think any knowledgeable football plan can objectively evaluate the two and make a decision. I think it’s fairly obvious who the better quarterback is, and it’s not your mancrush Mitch.

Moving forward! I guess all we can hope for is some; young, hungry guys that wanna play, get in and do something with the opportunity! They should be unconventional at times (on O and D). Just frickin' compete!! Don't wanna see any quitters on the field.

    Go Steelers!

Can’t wait for press conference with the best coach in front of the microphone and obviously not on the field.

I just wish they didn't have so many injuries. But I guess that's part of football. It's just we've been spoiled the last few seasons in terms of player health.

Good luck to you guys the rest of the way. Your rookie QB's journey has started!

I'm not writing him off at all. I can't wait to see this kid play again next week. If I gave the impression that I don't have faith in him, that wasn't my intention. He's shown a lot of good things so far, but we haven't seen him be able to finish a drive yet. 5 ints vs 0 TDs in 6 quarters isn't great.

I didn't like the pick, but he's our QB now and I'm rooting hard for him. I liked some of things I saw today. Especially how he knows to give Pickens a chance on one on one balls. Guy doesn't act like a rookie, and isn't afraid to make mistakes

I'm actually OK with that... It was clearly a low hit that should have been called in a blow out..That fire can't be taught....You either have it or not

If I was the media ... I wouldn't even show up for the post-game interview with Tomlin. He's not even worth the time.

IIRC the Bengals beat them 41-10 the week before or after.

also iirc, they bounced back and made the playoffs.

Yes. Defending teammates is strictly verboten! Protecting players from cheap shots even when they are not a superstar is completely acceptable. Right on. Watching and playing football with complete emotional detachment is not only encouraged but the only right way to go about both. Perfect.

Yea I think Pickett wasn’t the problem today. He played good and the receivers just didn’t help him out and the D stinks. I expect him to play well next week against Tampa and I think that game will be much closer and they might even win it.
