Yeah, I’m pretty sure I read that Pickett asked the coaches not to change the game plan/play calls because he was prepared and could run them all. Don’t think he said anything about not being prepared.

Two bounced INTs, and a end of the game Hail Mary INT. Bad or good passes, they hit the hands of the receivers.

When Pickett got in, the offense moved. He scored two TDs and converted the two best qb sneaks I've seen in years.

The defense really laid an egg in the 4th. It's not like the INTs were at their own 12. The Jets went long drives on their 10 come back.

Likewise here. I thought Mitch looked improved in the first quarter, hitting the middle of the field more etc. But it still wasn't getting it done. I'd have preferred to see Pickett starting the game, though.

I think Tomlin will survive this season. I think he’ll be gone at the end of next season. He’s a great motivator. That’s about it. He’s bad at scheming, bad at adjustments and knows absolutely nothing about the offensive side of the game.

My guess is they’ll replace him with someone from outside - likely an offensive coordinator. That’s the way most teams are going with their hires now.

Hey jack ass we can have a discussion about it can’t we? I’m glad KENNY is playing and I do wish they would’ve prepped him with a 10 day break between games. But to act like this is some kind of huge unheard of disadvantage to be thrust into a game it’s just silly.

I've been a Trubisky Fan ( as you know ) and down on Pickett ( as you know ) ...But I've been down on Tomlin more than any other thing ..

Trubisky played way worse than I ever thought...With the weapons here being better, and him already being pretty good in Chicago...I had high hopes...

I was wrong...He is sucking. Canada is a big problem also, and the WR's too...but...

You drafted Pickett in the 1st round...Your team is 1-3 ( should really be 0-4 if not for a freak injury to a LS ,which led a kicker to miss 2 Bunnies )

WTF.... WOULDN'T he put Pickett in? Trubisky had his chance, and Nada...THIS, Is the kind of dumb S*** why I can't stand Tomlin...

Why would he even consider it?

The kicker didn't miss two bunnies. He had one blocked, though timing issues from the bad snap likely helped Fitzpatrick get there. Facts matter.

My problem with Tomlin is putting Trubisky on a short leash. If you are going to stick with him, then stick with him. If not, he should have made the change to start the game against the Jets, not at halftime.

Well, there is a difference between controllable, and non-controllable. The controllable is the issue. JMO>

He never said he was not prepared. In fact, he said he knew all the calls and asked the coaches to not "handcuff" (his word) the offense.

With the exception of the hail mary, every pass he threw hit a Steelers receiver in the hands. I am not sure how much better he could have been. The fumbled pitch was apparently a poor play by him but I did not see it.

Are you seriously trying to tell me...The holder, reaching up over his head to pull the snap down...and the second one, which was also bad...And he had the laces turned toward the Kicker, because the timing was off.. DIDN'T contribute to the Kicker missing 2 Bunnies?

That’s more time than Big Ben had before he had to come in against the Ravens his rookie year.

Tomlin will not be fired as long as Rooney is the ultimate decision maker.

And please…NO, a million times NO to Brian Flores becoming the head coach. I’d rather keep Tomlin!

Ah. Now I see where your paranoia came from. My bad.

The fact is that he didn't miss the PAT. It was blocked, though the bad snap was a factor.

You are quoting him as saying "I wasn't prepared"? I didn't hear that at all from him.

In Pickett's defense, he DID complete all his passes in his first NFL game. 10 were to teammates, and 3 were to the Jets, but he was 13-for-13. So fess up and admit Pickett throws a catchable ball !!!!
