Current Season Team Sack Leader: Jason Worilids???

Would you have believed that before the season started?

That kind of took me back a bit after I heard that on sportstalk the other day. WOW!

 

I think what is crazy is he has done it with so few snaps.....

 

I thinking the same thing, I didn't know he was on the field long enough to lead the team.

 

Is it a good thing or does it show how bad the others have been?

 

I'm just encouraged by the play of both Worilds and Timmons. I'm much more optimistic about our LB group nw than I was earlier in the season and now feel that it may not be necessary to draft a LB in the first round.

 

they said he's better on woodleys side then harrisons side. now if harrison were healthy, the sacks would be much higher. worilds has been a beast this year on that side. not the same when he's replacing JH though.

 

I've been a big Worilds fan this year. Also I wanna see more McClendon. I saw Worilds in person and didn't think he was that big. But I think it was gpguy that actually pointed out that he's bigger than Harrison. I was pretty shocked by that. But I don't care how big he is. If he's getting to the qb I'm ALL ABOUT IT! WOO HOO!

Oh, come on now. It just says he's good and other teams don't game plan for him yet.

 

As was mentioned before, he appears to perform better on Woodley's side. Which makes me wonder if/when the team cuts ties with Harrison if they would consider moving Woodley over. Worilds didn't seem to get much pressure from there, maybe Woodley would have better success?

I like what he has been doing this year. Though the one sack he was credited with it was only because he was the closest guy - didn't actually tackle anyone.

 

Makes you wonder what Woodley is doing.....He goes out and the sacks go up.
