first tomlin said he didnt see lefty struggling for wind and wincing in pain in the game against the ravens... now he said ben worked out and threw the ball today but he didnt observe him doing it .... http://www.steelersdepot.com/2012/1...-ryan-lee-to-their-practice-squad-on-tuesday/ so my question is what was tomlin watching while we all watched leftwich sucking air and in pain? and today what was so important for tomlin that he didnt have the time to watch his star QB throw the ball? is he telling us that he was doing something more important to make us win sunday then checking on the progress of his star quarterback? we are 7-4 with ben 0-2 without ben? i know tomlin says the standard is the standard but lefty and charlie havnt lived up to the ben standart too well.. admittedly i thought charlie would have played much better.. i wass totally wrong about charlies play..

Maybe the QB coach was watching him... Or maybe Haley... Or maybe he just doesn't want to talk about it.

By the way, we are 6-5 so I'm not sure how we are 7-4 with him and 0-2 without him.

i have to agree about why wouldn't he watch his starting qb throw. that seems pretty important. maybe he was busy getting his azz chewed out by the front office. i'm sure they were embarrassed by their former collegue besting them in that fashion. i would be. hey maybe not though. maybe it's just an MT thing. shake it up and get their attention. i'm all for it. pine or play.

He does that fairly regularly. I believe it's his way of saying 'I'm not telling', without saying 'I'm not telling'. :smiley1:

I think you meant that he was busy eating Ben and Jerry while watching Tom and Jerry or maybe Vice Versa.

Im pretty sure he know how Ben's throwing went - he just doesnt feel like its necessary say. I am fine with that. Do we really want to let the Ravens know who they should be preparing for at QB?

I don't know about you guys, but I'd watch Ben, Tom, Jerry, and Jerry make ice cream.

Jerry Glanville is hilarious. I remember him as the Falcons coach when I was little. What's he doing these days? I saw an NFL Films thing about him once and it said that he still leaves tickets at Will Call for Elvis. It also showed him getting in a heated argument with Chuck Noll. Chuck put his finger right in Jerry's face! It was over the Houston guys hitting out of bounds or something. I wonder if Tomlin would ever put his finger in somebody's face and grab them also?
