I never expected them to do numbers against Seattle anyway…Hawks had something to prove. However, I bet that their offense ends up in top 5 this year.

I’m watching the Cowboys-Bengals game and the play calling is day and night. Relying on a QB who started the season as a 3rd stringer, the Cowboys are playing fearless. Meanwhile, our OC calls 3-5 yards passes

Ain't this the truth. It seems like when I watch other teams they get 1st downs on 2nd down routinely. We always seem like we're thrilled if we can get to 3rd and 3 or 4.

 

Then why hire a guy that runs that style of offense in the first place?

 

But that's my point. The recievers run to those spots, but Mitch isn't throwing there.

 

How is this Denver is a top 5 offense comment aging after 3 weeks? Lol

The Steelers have run the most 3rd down plays (20) between 2-5 yards needed this season and have averaged just 1.3 yards on those plays (worst in NFL). Converted just 30%.

 

Why can Cowboy's Cooper Rush run an Offense and there's loads of excuses for Trib and Canada?

Answer; Because we have a Defensive Coach as a Head Coach AND an Avg college offensive coordinator as our Off. Coordinator!! Also a New OL with a New OLine Coach. Last three years we had very bad OL coaches.

The OL is starting to get better so our run game may improve BUT Canada is still here under Tomlin.

Yeah….I don’t know why they stuck with MC as the play caller. I honestly do not see what the front office sees in his abilities as an OC, his scheme is so predictable .

If this has been mentioned in this thread already I apologiz but when Canada was the hottest new offensive mind in the country and got rushed to the SEC and LSU it was a big deal for the talking heads but then like a silent fart there was nothing...Nada..zip..zero news. So when I heard the steelers hired him I thought yep he sucks. If he was at best even above average LSU throws big money at him. Its Luke hiring a guy with a great written resume on paper but just seems to blame everything but his new revolutionary offensive scheme ...
