I miss the days when the Steelers had Todd Haley as offensive coordinator. He was more creative than Matt Canada. It did not hurt that Todd had prime Big Ben, Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown, but his playcalling was better. From his tenure in Pittsburgh from 2012-2017, on average, the Steelers were ranked 7th in passing yards, 11th in point scored, 19th in rushing yards, in the 5 years Le'Veon had Todd Haley as his offensive coordinator, he was in the top 4 in rushing yards in 3 out those 5 years, we all know what Ben was doing with having Antonio and Heath Miller as his prime targets in that span as well, and yeah, the Steelers were ranked 9th in total yards in that time frame as well. Matt Canada do better. Lol

You do remember the early struggles with him? :)
He did come about and put together a very nice offense.
Pittsburgh does need to keep guys like Haley on the radar..
Canada does need to make this thing work.

The problem with Todd Haley is he is an arrogant jerk. I went to middle school and high school with the guy and he was in many of my classes so I know first hand how he is/was as a person. Knew from the get go that it would be a challenge succeeding as a Steelers coach. Making him OC of the Steelers with Ben Roethlisberger as the QB was literally like mixing oil and water.

I really liked his play calling and designing though.

The killer B's couldn't avg 30pts a game with him as OC. And, being better then Canada isn't hard my friend.

Todd Haley had his faults, but damn, at least he was not as predictable as Matt Canada, but I can play devil's advocate at the same time. Todd had a prime Big Ben to work with. Matt did get that position last year, and Big Ben was done. He was not mobile, overthrowing receivers, etc, but we will see how this season goes with the playcalling for Mitch.

Haley sucked , for this reason.

Yes, he preserved Ben's career, but played well below potential.
