I would say 8-9 wins and no playoffs is my prediction. The o line will hold us back for second season in a row. No time to throw and zero run game with tough schedule means Mike tomlins non losing record might be over. Front office better spend money on two real free agents for o line or one and a first round draft pick to make team viable super bowl contenders again. We will Pickett around week 6-7 and at least one qb gets injured with this joke of a line

I still say we surprise a lot of people. 11-6 or 12-5. Deep playoff run. ONLY if the team stays relatively healthy.

If we can come together as a unit on the line and play better, and if rush defense plays better than it looks, and if TJ Watt, Cam, Heyward, Fitzpatrick stay healthy.

Maybe 10 wins and final playoff spot.

Sounds like a lot of wishing, so I think its 7-8 wins.

Without a OL , no run game, can't stop the run on. Defense, a QB carousel, we'll be lucky to be .500. Too bad not enough was done to fix this line.

9 to 10. Staying healthy is key, especially the top tier.

8-10 wins as others have said. If they can find a way to work around / mitigate the offensive line issues (or at least clean up the penalties) and stay relatively healthy they’ll be a tough team to beat and will be in most games I think.

AFC is an absolute fire pit and only seven teams make the postseason, if I had to call it now I’d say they miss out. The OLine looks like it’s going to really hurt them unfortunately.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect at all to be honest. The OL makes me SO nervous. I'm not sure the run D is all that great? Let's go with 9 wins

I think this an 11 win team if healthy. Besides the o line this roster is solid.

I absolutely hate this but 6 wins is max. This Oline, cannot deal with 1x1 blocking let alone stunts and blitzing. Najee getting hit almost at handoff point, doesn‘t bode well. QB, RB and WRs don‘t mean squat without the big uglies upfront. I don‘t see Pittsburgh extending the field so defenses will sit on routes and have an additional man in the box for run game. We will be lucky to average 21 points a game.

Defense is long in the tooth upfront, one key injury at DT or NG and this defense will fold like a house of cards. Bush is absolutely horrible and what is worse is a horrible arrogant player, which he is. This is still a secondary based on getting to the QBs and if that doesn‘t happen not a shut down player present. Fitzpatrick, if truly a superstar gets quiet for a lot of the game or stretches of games, no where near a Troy level player.

Coach Tomlin had talent and underperformed for a long time, not talking about consecutive winning seasons That doesn‘t mean ****, Steelers we’re always judged on rings, when that changed i don‘t know? The clichés and the one liners have gotten old for me, he doesn‘t know when to Challenge a call or make adjustments at halftime. In fact with the talent he had he owes us fans at least 1-2 SBs more then what he has delivered.

One other point about this team and it’s Leadership, Head Coach to Captains, I have felt for the last 4-5 years that individual stats, player awards and Tik Tok hits have been more important then team goals. Maybe I’m just getting old and cranky but this Organization has changed.

Looking at the schedule...............6 wins at the most. The o-line still sucks a our defense still can't stop the run.

Spot on, this is my prediction as well. Our division is going to be really tough this year. Lots if we go 4-2 in division, we easily could see a 10 win year. 2-4 and we're looking at 7-10.... We made it last year with the WORST OL and WORST run D. The run D will be much improved. OL.... meh? lol "on paper" we are a better team than last year, but that doesn't mean a thing. Just gonna have to win our close games and win in our division.

I find it hard to believe we win only 6 games without significant injuries.

Not to single you out since you're not the only one with this projection... just find this a hard one to believe if we are healthy. Now we lose a few important guys for long lengths of time? Totally doable. Hoping for health

Linebacker is a major problem as well. Bush is horrible so is Spillane and we have no depth on the outside. Highsmith is already hurt and will undoubtedly miss games this season. If Watt or Jack go down we are beyond screwed.

9-8 this team has a bit of growing up. As the season progresses we do better and better. Draft O line and compete for a title

Daniels turns out to be no better than last years Pro Bowl pickup Trai Turner.
    upload_2022-8-29_23-0-46.png

We go 5-12 as we realize it is time to do something we have not done since 2012 and draft an offensive lineman in the 1st or 2nd round.

These former Pro Bowl players are free agents for a reason.

Mitch will be a flop and Kenny will be too valuable to play behind our horrible offensive line; so Mason will end up starting down the stretch to finish out a 5-12 season. I thought Mason held the ball too long, but Mitch is on an entirely different level for holding onto the ball.

    Such positivity in this thread.

    My predictions:

    - Trubisky plays well but in a crucial game plays it safe rather than stretches the field, leading to a loss and the crowd shouting "KENNY" repeatedly until Pickett is put in.

    - Najee gets more yards receiving than rushing in the first half of the season.

    - Canada's offense gets us off to a good start, though defenses catch on after a bit.

    - Several injuries at ILB, because that always seems to happen.

    - At some point we re-sign Joe Haden.

    - After all of this, we still win more games than we lose.

My thought is, I have no idea. Looking at the Prediction Poll only 3-4 have us at 6 wins. Most predicted a decent season.

AFC is tough. If at some point Pickett comes in and looks like he will be under center for many years like Mr. Bradshaw and Mr. BR then I don't care what this season looks like cause we got us a future.
