    I lost my mind once and did a frame off restoration on my '67 442. I ended up selling it for way less than I had into it!

    That sucks. How long did You keep it after You were done....before You sold it???

    Probably 5 years after the restoration. When done, the only original sheet metal was the roofline, fire wall and doors. Don't start a restoration on an original Connecticut car. Just a bit of rust........
    The way people drive now, I didn't think it was a good idea to drive a car that heavy that only had drum brakes!

    Could you not have changed that, or You didn't want 2???
    I think I already said this before, but I had a friend in High school that's brother played for the Vikings, and bought Him a 69 model convertible 442. It was sweet.

    I restored it to dead stock. Front discs were an option that year. Mine didn't have that option.
