So happy the Broncos won though after all the trash the Jets were talking. I'm amazed though that NY couldn't back it up, but I guess karma's a b.....

You're right GB, their offense is just silly, and I can't imagine that going very far.

Does that group 'Tebow' happen after every game or was that just this game?

Some of the reporters are acting like Tebow is the next Johnny U. He (and his team) have beaten the Raiders, Chiefs, Dolphins and Jets but the real tests are the upcoming Bears and Pats games.

I expected his voice to be a little deeper, not Mike Tyson like.

Well, all the people who think he can't play QB thought he'd be a good tight end, so, it's the same kind of thing right? Antonio Gates and Gonzalas get the ball quite a bit for pretty decent lenght careers. I know he's carrying it even more, but he can still make some money and a (real) name (not just hype. Maybe..) in this league. I just don't think he'll be as successful as he has been these past 5 games. Especially in his division. Once these teams get the right game plan going he better have evolved to more traditional winning styles. He's fun now though. I wish he was given a fair chance for future success. I hope I'm wrong about all of this.

This was the first full game I watched with Tebow at QB. My first thought was that this can't last very long as someone is going to lay a monster hit on him and he's done. Fun to watch, but the doomsday clock is ticking down.

Hmmm I seem to remember another young QB who just won games when he got the opportunity to start. Obviously TT and BR have different styles & skills. But how much smack did we hear about Ben and that he didn't have to do much but handoff to the Bus and let the D dominate. Obviously BR has silenced the haters about his ability to just win games. I hope and believe Tebow will do the same.

he's got 52 other guys on his team that believe now. ben earned it too from his teamates, that's all that matters. results speak for themselves. alot of games have been won over the years by running the football. plays are designed to score and unless the defense stops it, it doesn't matter how it's done. bottom line. :drinks:

    No. Just no.

Better comparison. I can remember a QB who was an amazing athlete. He had naysayers right out of the gate, but his fans (and I was one of them at the time) blamed all of the criticism on everything but reality. He was WINNING. That's all that matters. He's really just a rookie (he wasn't). He's giving teams nightmares on D on how to prepare against him. People are only hating on him because <insert character aspersion>.

It's almost not even a fair comparison, because as truly AWFUL of an NFL QB he was, he was 100x the QB that Tim Tebow is. You should remember him. He played for us and wore #10. Kordell still has his defenders. But the cold hard truth was that he couldn't get the job done. He won on sheer athleticism, and once teams figured out how to contain the one trick pony, he was the anchor that weighed down a truly great team.

Who has Tebow beaten? a bunch of tools. And how? By the other team going into prevent and making horrible miscues late in a game.

Call me when he leads his team to a win over someone note worthy. Call me when he wins a playoff game with that playground crap.

The only comparison of Tebow to Ben is they both had their doubters in their rookie seasons. Performance wise, there's no comparison at all. Competition level of their early wins, there's no comparison.

He was overrated in college. He's an illusion so far in the NFL. And the smoke and mirrors will soon end.
