    What?!?!? :confused1:

Stafford is a good QB, but he is no Brady, Montana, Bradshaw, Manning, etc.

Stafford is a benefactor of a great surrounding team. So is Trubisky.

No,Stafford is not a legendary QB but Trubisky is not on the same tier that Stafford.Stafford is a top 10 QB,Trubisky was a backup last year.Big difference!

he’s more talented than Brady and manning arm wise. He’s not better than anyone you named but he has one of the best arms ever. Trubisky is no where near that. Also he’s like 3rd all time in passing yards per game and fastest guy to reach 45000 passing yards. He was just stuck on arguably the worst franchise in the nfl history that forced two all time transcendent first ballot hall of famers to retire early..

I learned today that Trubisky made the NFC pro bowl as a Bear.

Let's get this on record. You say Trubisky sucks and Steelers are going nowhere with him at QB.

He was a free agent. He wasn't forced to go to buffalo.. rams could have got him for free instead of trading for stafford.

I think a winning record is a possibility. That doesn't make trubisky a good qb though.

You didn't know that? He also took the Bears to the playoffs 2 out of 3 years in spite of Nagy as coach.

So according to the great analyst... Trubisky is garbage even though he was in the offensive hell that has been the Chicago Bears since 1986.

We don't know what Trubisky is. What we do know is he was a top half of the first round talent, most scouts had him as a pro bowl talent (which he made). We know that his first 3 years were development hell under Nagy who's entire offensive scheme was a mess and he managed to find a way to get to the playoffs twice and then after the Bears changed coaching staffs served as a backup to Allen.

That's it. We know nothing else. Maybe the Steelers can fix him, maybe they can't.

I think We are going 2 have a problem with differences in scheme ideas between Flores, Austin, and Tomlin if things don't go well. I was watching them on the sidelines, and Flores doesn't seem like one 2 hold back.......I hope they can all work together.

I would agree with You more, but you cancel everything out by thinking Lamar is one of those great Qbs. LoL

You mean the coach that won coach of the year. That ran the same offense as Andy Reed. This is the same thing people tried 2 say about Sam Darnold....it was all the coaches fault....then He got a different team different coach, and still sucked. LoL.
Although I hope Trubisky doesn't suck, and I'm totally wrong. Did everyone just forget how bad He missed on the only deep ball He had last night??

OK, that explains why Kenny had more of a mobile pocket than the other two. And, yeah, I remember Ben's rookie year and talking about how he only had to read half the field in the offense he was running.

Again, you are misunderstanding the widely-held opinion that he was the most pro-ready of the quarterbacks in the draft. That in no way means that it was the only reason he warranted a first-round pick. In fact, that would be an incredibly stupid reason to take a guy in the first round, especially after already signing a stopgap veteran who is most likely going to at least open the 2022 season as the starter.

Goff was a very good NFL quarterback? You're funny.

What you fail to understand is that it factor, as you call it, isn't always an arm like Josh Allen's or legs like Lamar Jackson's. It can also be what is between the ears as long as the guy has an NFL arm. In case you didn't notice, Pickett has that and better mobility than most people realize.

Who said? How exactly was his arm measured as one of the best ever?

Stafford does have a great arm. So did some really ****ty quarterbacks.

Well Devin Bush still looks like a blind dog in the meat house when filling gaps in Run Defense. Very disappointed in Buddy Johnson myself and sans that great play, Mark Robinson had serious issues in coverage. As stated before, look foe Noah Sewell to be a Steelers draft target come 2023.....

.... assuming Omar Kahn, Andy Weidl and Mike Tomlin all elect to go out to the Pacific Northwest to begin with...

That was a monumental achievement all things considered. In my mind mitch hasn't been given a good opportunity yet to see just how good he is or can be. Hoping this is where we find out and if not bring on pickett. Got a darn good chance of one of our 2 qbs being really good. Exciting times for steeler fans!
