Point being, stadiums were financed and planned at the same time correct? With much more going to a franchise that had absolutely no plans of being competitive. Heinz field cost what like 260 million with Heinz getting the naming right for 20 years for just under 60 million. Tax money was gonna be spent regardless and as baseball field is more limited in other events that could be held there. It doesn't make any sense at all

 

now how much and how long did the Southern beltway take? I believe I was a young man when that started. LOL

 

Yes. That's the problem with PennDOT. Takes them a half a century to develop projects and another 25 years to lay pavement. So yea, it'll be 2200 before a Northern Belway to be finished.

 

Now add a billion dollars per mile, no it is not getting done.

 

First order of business: Rename the newly renamed stadium.
