This ain’t the Academy Awards man, I don’t have to list everyone :lolol:

I specifically mentioned TDFW because we had a debate about the two of them. I wasn’t sold on Austin and he wasn’t on Pickens.

I still think Austin has a tougher road, it’s one thing to do it in camp and another against teams when it counts. However from what I have seen, I think he is more than capable and I am no longer as concerned about his size as I once was.

Hearing stuff like this has me concerned about Daniels.

Could Leal be another steal in the draft?

that was the type of thing I was saying whoa if the ball gets turned over some defender is going to clean his clock especially if its the Ravens. But youth and training camp can't be helped to see some excitement

    I'm guessing George Pickens.

I can say things are shaping up now as far as training camp goes. One can definitely see the team taking shape.

I have no shame in admitting my attention is almost 90% focused on the QB position.
Kenny Pickett, has a bigger learning curve than the other two, has made some really nice plays.
I wish I could say the gap between Mitch and Mason was clearer, but it is not.
I think Mitch does have a little more of an edge to his play.
It is also a bonus to have George Pickens and it is clear that he changes this offense, gives it a different dimension.
I hope he is able to transition this success to when the pads are on the games are for real - I think he will.

On a different note, the defense looks stout.
I liked the addition of the ex-Cowboy, Ron'Dell Carter.
For what it is worth, the group of new additions, probably led by Ogunjobi seem to be contributing well.

Maybe the not-so-good bit, there is a definite drop at the RB spot after Harris.
Maybe it's just not quite there yet, or maybe it is because Harris is that special.

Over the difference in week is apparent and that's what I like to see.
I am hoping for better than a ~.500 record, but there's still some ifs.
The WR core looks solid, the defense looks like it has improved, the OL looks a little better... I really think it comes down to QB play.

Question of the day for me: Why the heck does Madden have a bur in *his* underwear for Kenny Pickett? I can never figure out what he's talking about?

For sure. I know it is early, but it's hard not to be excited for the recieving corps right now. Too bad these guys didn't get to play with the 2016 version of Ben.

I think that has more to do with Madden's beef with Pitt, and he has hated anything Pitt since. It started after Wanny "retired."

Where are they playing Ron'Dell Carter? I've seen him listed as OLB and at DE. He is 6'3" and weighs 269. Kind of small for the line but he would be a huge linebacker.

    Sounds about right....
I had no idea what he was ranting about the other day, it was like 'was he even there?'
I guess every team has those distractions.... they should assign him to Washington, there he would be right most of the time.

I saw LB... but someone said he took reps at DE (I wasn't paying attention at that time).

I used to think Madden was all schtick, but then I saw him in action at a local pub I frequent. If it was a schtick, he never broke character. He was such an abrasive, belligerent jerk that through him out. Oh, and he's morbidly obese. If he's a pound, he's 400.

A real shame because the guy is a talent in that I do think he conducts really good, insightful interviews compared to most sports reporters/commentators.

Sounds about right. When his own hero decides to call him out for being a schmuck, you'd think he'd listen. Instead he doubled dahn and argued with Ric Flair.

Another aside, I know I am fixated on the topic...

Mason Rudolf has appeared to be a different guy.
I know he has a step on Mitch and Kenny in that he's got some years here, but I have to trust the old eye-to-brain connection.
He's been pretty accurate in this throws (when they count)

I won't sell him as 'the solution' but if he is playing the best, it would seem silly to not play him as the starter until proven otherwise.
I am for sure, not on a Mason bandwagon. I feel he really blew it when Ben went down with injury, and he had every chance to really elevate his play and did not.

I think Saturday we'll get a litmus test as I "think" Mitch will start it off and Mason will play second.. not sure we will see Kenny yet, maybe.

For sure. Having an alpha like Pat Narduzzi being belligerent himself really doesn't help matters with a guy like Madden.

All Madden's comments the other day did was just give people with a preconceived notion that's really not paying attention more ammo against Kenny.

From what I read the tentative schedule for Saturday is: 1st Mitch 2nd & 3rd Mason 4th Kenny.

Just saw, that the brown's rb Hunt requested a trade. But, was denied. Would Mason for Hunt be a possibility? Or, would Myles have something to say about that? ... lol
