Dunno yinz, I think Bush is done. Doesn't even seem like Flores is getting his game together. I hope once we have a preseason game he'll be ok. But I'm starting to have my doubts.

 

Yeah, I saw the Depth chart the Steelers put out and Bush is now sharing the role with Robert Spillane as one of the starting ILBs.

 

It's not-so-much the depth chart that prompted my post. It's the fact that damn near every beat writer, insider and blogger are echoing negative points about him. I figured the depth chart to act as a motivator, but I'm thinking Spillane starts Week 1 and we'll be looking at ILB in the spring whether it's FA or draft. He still has time to turn it around, but this isn't promising.

 

That’s a bummer and a big miss by our draft team. Edmunds blows as well but we didn’t trade up in the first round to get him at least.

 

I thought I read somewhere that TJ was praising Jack and Bush for their play so far? I was happily surprised to hear that… I guess it’s not the case, based on other reports.

 

We'll see what is going on Sat night. I'll believe my eyes more than others' opinions in the media. Too much garbage out there right now and its so early yet.

 

Those depth charts don't mean anything, they only put those out because the league makes them do it.

 

I heard on SNR that Bush was doing alright in camp, being more aggressive than last year.

 

Mmm. Might be time to start a preseason thread for game on Saturday against the Seahags.

I see Pickett is listed as our 3rd string QB on depth chart, as he should be. Would have been nice if he somehow impressed beyond expectations and there was at least a debate by the "experts" he should have been higher, but this early it does not mean much being listed as third string.

 

I don't know how you would put him any higher unless you put Mason and Mitch as the #1 QB. Which is I think what they should have done.

If you can have Dotson & Green as your starting LG and Bush & Spillane as your starting LILB, why not Mitch & Mason as your starting QB?


If not, who are you dropping to #3? Mason currently is playing the best in camp and Mitch is our starting QB.

DJ hurt already? must have been carrying his money around, it got to heavy.

Jaylon Warren
Austin
Pickens
Delontae Scott
Mark Robinson

 

Say what you will about DJ, but the dude’s a hard worker and is trying to maximize his talent. He also demonstrated that he’s a reasonable and rational thinker by signing a very fair contract for him and the Steelers didn’t have to break the bank. I don’t think he’s a diva like a few other receivers the Steelers have had over the last decade or so.

 

who is 14 white? I know its camp dude but don't let the excitement make you forget to pay attention. Guy is leaping with joy

 

You are forgetting someone here!!

 

That's the great thing about Austin. If you throw a quick out to him and he has one guy miss, then forget about it. No one on the field is going to catch him.
