That mean's Ben should have only been suspended for the 1st Qtr of the first game of the season. It's ridiculous! I believed at the time Ben deserved the suspension (although reduced to 4 games). Many fans were ready to run him out of town when the news broke. Watson's 6-game suspension is far too lenient. AB was suspended 8 games for a variety of off-field behavioral issues, but let's just run with the sexual assault. In AB's words "All he did was jack on her back." Meanwhile Deshaun Watson only get's 6 games for his 24 happy endings. UNBELIEVEABLE!

Well, it's going to be a long court battle which means Watson might be able to play the whole season until it's resolved.

No he got a 6 game suspension for the 4 cases the NFL.chose to submit. I have no.idea why more were not pursued, but blame the league for setting it's own ignorant precedent.

 

Emotional responses. There was not enough evidence to bring him to trial from a grand jury. He settled all civil cases. The Judge made her decision on the 4..yea count them 4 events the NFL submitted.

Goodell played this completely wrong. They should've placed him on the exempt list and resolved this in the spring, after this season. If it ultimately became a 6 game suspension then so be it. Appealing this and ending up in Federal Court is going to blow up in their faces.

There will be no court battle here. It is simple math for the sexual predator. He will not win in court because the policy is in the contract so he will lose. He may get an injunction until court battles are over but he will still be suspended for the year. But if he does that, the suspension would cost him nexts year 45 million dollar salary versus 1 million which is this years salary. I hope he does take it to court and it costs him 44 mill

 

I am a little upset the nfl appealed. I wanted to bet s some money on the under for the browns. If you looked at the browns schedule especially the second half. They will be lucky to win 7 with Deshawn. It’s brutal now their total will be like 6
