Steelers Depot and other outlets are reporting that the 94 1st round pick passed away at age 50. Far too young.

WOW; what a High School Staff.
Former Steelers WR Charles Johnson dies (dkpittsburghsports.com)
Johnson had been working as an assistant athletic director at Heritage High School in Wake Forest, where, according to CBS17.com, former Steelers cornerback Dwayne Washington had been the head football coach, while Willie Parker and former Rams receiver Torry Holt were assistant coaches.

Johnson, Mills and Thigpen were a good WR corps in the mid 90's. Sucks that Johnson passed away. RIP.

Nope. 50 is really young though for someone who was probably in really great shape. I've been hearing of a lot of people dying rather young lately. Nobody wants to look at whether it could possibly be results of the vaccine though. I'm not saying it was but it should be examined and open for discussion which I doubt will be part of the autopsy.

    RIP young man.

This is a very sad story, but please don't hijack the thread with some illogical, non-facts based post regarding the COVID vaccine. Completely inappropriate and a total disservice to the man and his family. I work in an ER and have seen plenty of people die in their twenties and thirties of heart attacks and strokes. It doesn't seem to make sense but it does occur. Many NFL players die young, in case you haven't seen the news lately. Marion Barber and the Ravens linebacker being two prime examples. Please don't bring your ridiculous political agenda here anymore.

I'm sorry I'm not allowed to have questions. But to be certain. I didn't bring anything political into this thread. You Brought that up. I merely asked a concerning question.

I'll get back in line now.
