when was the last time we had a victory like the patriots are doing to the jets tonite? why can't we have one game like that? when we play bad teams, they end up to be a close game (chiefs).

Because we're not as well coached and we don't prepare at such an insanely attentive to detail level as they do. I think the ONLY game I can think of where we've came out and really looked like we spent time SERIOUSLY preparing is ironically when we beat the Pats at Heinz when Ben slung it all over the yard and looked as Brady as Brady. But that's the answer. We're simply not as well coached in all 3 phases of the game.

system and qb and coach and cheatin and the commish loves them and their owner and they scout well and bag alot of picks and cheat mostly with a hand slap. as a matter of fact, i don't want to be anything like them, come to think of it, but those are most of the reasons.:lolol::cool:

Most teams in the league probably have the same question. They are scoring points in bunches and sometimes it looks like they are on autopilot on offense.

They showed a stats early in the game that was pretty damn impressive. The Pats' record in the second half of the last 2.5 seasons: 2010: 8-0, 2011: 8-0, 2012 - 3-0.

Ok, go ahead and slaughter me for saying something positive about the Pats, ask how many Super Bowls they've won in the last 5 years, etc., etc.

I won't slaughter you. I take jazz on here all the time for openly being a Pats fan. I don't care what people say about them. Brady is a DANG good qb and besides Joe Montana he's probably the greatest of all time. Belichik is a DANG good coach and will probably go down as the greatest of all time as well. Belichik knows more about football than probably all of us combined will ever forget. I would actually venture the only dude in the WHOLE NFL that has the knowledge of the game that he does is Dick Lebeau. I heard Belichik once talking about some play that he had used in a Pats game and saying how he saw that play in some obscure game like 50 years ago or something. It's just insane that a person can pay that much attention to detail and retain that kind of knowledge. I'd love to hear him and Lebeau sit around having a conversation.

the only reason most people hate the Pats is because they are good. if they stunk than no one would care about Belacheat, Brady or all the cheating they do. they win games and have been one of the best teams in football for over a decade. i hate them, but i respect them.

Just out of curiosity do you really think they STILL cheat? Also I was just wondering if you realized that when they got fined for that it was just for that one game and not an accumulation of games? I'm not trying to justify it because it was wrong but I've talked to a lot of people that said they done it in every game and thought that's why they were fined. The game they were fined for was a Week 1 game against the Jets in 07.

If this team plays the 9ers in the Super Bowl it's gonna be a heck of a Super Bowl.

that whole deal was fishy. werent the tapes destroyed? seems a bit weird that the commish tried to cover everything up so quick.

Yeah he destroyed them but fined Belichik all that money and the team lost the draft picks. The dumbest thing about it is what did they really hope to learn? I mean don't teams change their signals all the time? Also cheating must be more prevalent than we know. Look at how many coaches cover their mouths to call plays. They've done that for a long time.

Brady might be a good QB but in a game I attended at Heinz field I heard him say " I hate this place" as he went to the tunnel after a win. I was disappointed the Steelers lost to the Pats at home and adding insult to injury his comments. I would have spit on him had I been closer. lol

No as evidenced by Ben and his signals early this year and the claim that they heard the KC defenders calling out their plays.

The reason you dont see the high scoring offense with Ben that you see with Brady is because Ben is not as smart as Brady. Sad to say but as many years as both have been QBs more often then not Brady outscores Ben. There are a few QBs in the NFL that do it consistently..

Two very different quarterbacks. Ben loves to move around a bit more then Brady and make a play.. Brady will take the sack and Ben will try to make a play.

Brady is throwing up high numbers now but if you remember last year the Steelers finally were able to beat the Pats at Home ..

    Just my take

If you notice their head coach actually coaches and dosent stand on the side lines with a blank look on his face. Say what you want about Belicheck, every game he around the players benches coaching his team.

For all the talk about king Brady and Belicheck in this thread the Patriots route of the Jets last night had as much to do about the Jets turnovers and special team blunders as it did about Brady's greatness. Sure he played great throwing 3 TD's but it's not like we haven't seen Ben throw 3 TD's in a game before. It's pretty damn easy to blow a team out when they're turning the ball over to you 3 or more times a game. To answer the original poster's question we can play a game like the pats if the opponent wants to accommodate us by gift wrapping fumbles and interceptions like the Jets did last night.

Please!!! The jets handed the game over on a platter with the two lost fumbles for td's in 52 seconds and all momentum was lost then, not to mention the picks thrown and poor play by Jets D. Now you can't coach that to happen, might be more intimidating if anything but the Pats lost to the Cards and Seahawks, both are none playoff teams, only thing they're probably better than Steelers at is staying healthy (minus the kowski guy)

We better sit Wallace when we face the Pats in the playoffs, we can't afford Mr. Weak to fumble a few back to them.

I dont think we would run the score up on another team, even if we could,.. We have more class in that. I KNOW WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEN IN THE WHOLE GAME, to me that was just classless .:flag:

I dont think we could even given the chance. The other team could field nothing other then pylons and we would lay down
