I do this because I use an iPhone

Otherwise if the part quoted or hilighted is towards the end it gets lost and the response doesn’t make sense

Butyou can’t make things out of text

    That’s just me

Najee is very talented. But, athletically he's not elite, imo. I've made my thoughts on his first round selection clear.

BUT, the kid really does give maximum effort all the time. I can't ask more of any player than that.

On top of that, he seems like a good kid and a model representative for the Steelers.

He's never going to be want I would want from a 1st rd RB, a homerun hitter. But if he can have a .400 OBP, then i'm onboard.

If our OL can run block, you will see a much better offense. Now throw in the play action
and you have a team that can compete.

I like Najee but they are making a big deal about his size when really he wasn’t much bigger than his playing weight from last year. Remember the media was not around the players last OTA’s so honestly this is really the first time they have gotten this close to Najee in a practice setting. Plus he could have been 244 this time last year and by the time the season rolled around after training camp he could have burned off 4 lbs easy. Had they seen him this time last year they probably would have been saying the same things about his size. I really don’t believe he has transformed size was that much more since last year. I enjoy his hard running style and love his stiff arms. My only slight criticism is I wish he would hit the hole a little faster. Hopefully this year with better offensive line play and a less predictable offense we will see him be decisive in hitting the hole quickly.

I'm not talking about 40-yard dash speed that helps turn the 30-yard run into a 70-yard touchdown. I'm talking about the burst that allows him to turn the corner on a run to the outside, to turn the five-yard run into a 20-yard gain. That is what he had in last season and what I'm hoping he doesn't lose by bulking up.

Bell didn't have great speed, either. He could rip off big chunks, but I think he only had one run over 45 yards in his career. I think Harris can be a similar back, though I doubt he will ever be as good as a receiver.

I think N. Harris is actually better than Bell, but will We ever see it???
    1. Bell ran behind one of our best O lines in a while...
    2. Bell played with a HOF QB at most of His peak.
    3. Also had one of the best Wrs at His peak.
Najee has not had a bit of that.

In the end I think it will be about a 5 lb weight gain for Najee when he is playing late in the season.

Now that he knows what a 17 week season will take out of him, I see nothing wrong with him adding weight in the offseason to begin the season a little bigger than he did for his rookie season. I think this is all part of the year 2 process for players getting ready for the new season, understanding what 17 weeks of football can take out of them.

Funny, If you watched the draft specials you also saw all the carbs he was eating down in Mexico City with those late night margaritas.

I'm just going to go with the Harris name for a back in a Steelers uniform having magical powers and "run" with that.

You lost me there. I get that Bell was in a much better situation, but he also took advantage to be a much better player. Maybe Harris will surpass Bell in the long run, but I can't agree that he is better based on what we've seen so far.

Najee will be the top RB this season, book it. Guy is a beast.

On a side note how can you not be a Harris fan, guy handles his business so well.

I get a kick out of people suggesting he's overweight as they type comfortably from their chair.

One person I'm not concerned about is this dude he looks like a specimen built in a lab

    I kept thinking about this

You don’t pee in cornbread you pee in Cheerios

Peeing in the cornbread would just be uncivilized
