My Friend if You are comparing T. Edmunds 2 old Guys....of course older Guys that have had injuries ,that's cost more will still sit for awhile, and with that said not a one you mentioned couldn't find a team when they were young..some have been signed before by teams a few times, and got huge contracts...but T. Edmunds is a very Young, 1st round pick ...with no injuries...that nobody wanted....You can say what You want....doesn't change what He is. He below average. That's not US on the board saying that....that's the Steelers, and the rest of the NFL saying that.

They had too many holes, and not enough draft picks.

why bring him back at all then? we had 4 years to find his replacement. we didn't. now he's back. you can't tell me in that amount of time that they couldn't have made a move if they thought he was that bad.

Because he was their 1st rounder, knows the play book, and is very very cheap....have You seen the comparison 2 what real SS are making. ....why did Jarvis get so long...was he just average, or did He suck.

jarvis was actually pretty good against the run. rushing the qb is where he had trouble and to add to that he didn't always start while here. with who we have at strong safety i could see that happening too. a rotation.

I actually thought the only thing Jarvis was pretty good at was dropping into zone coverage.

Pff has Edmunds ranked barely in the top 50 safeties in 2021. Kazee is around 75. So yea. PFF’s grading did not put either in the top 10 free agent safeties. Lol

not being signed doesn’t make them bad. 1 year near league min offers from 1 or 2 teams means the opinions that they are bad is probably true since most nfl teams seem to think so as wel. If anyone in the nfl thought these guys in the prime age of their careers were serviceable or offered any upside at all they would get better offers. Give me a break. What some of you are arguing is ridiculous.

I thought the Steelers didn’t value defense anymore

those ranking are from his 2020 season going into 2021. he played much better in 2021 then he did in 2020 which those rankings are based on. in one ranking i saw matheu was ranked ahead of minkah too. matheu didn't have as great as year last year as in 2020, hence the ranking.

Sorry, but no. Edmunds was not as good as Mathieu last year. I know there is some ridiculous thing off PFF that keeps getting posted to support that ridiculous argument, but it simply isn't true.

I like kazee. And I think we should have gone for one in the 3rd. I don't get the leal pick at all. However kazee is a good player, you'll see. And it's only for a year. That gives them time to see what they want to do for next year.

Also honey badger already was going to sign with the taints before the draft started.

You went by made-up statistical analysis by the same folks who keep trying to tell us Myles Garrett was better than T.J. Watt last year.

No again, I went by actual game numbers. No analysis. NFL statistics. If they did the stat on the field it is accounted for in his or any other players season numbers. It's not a made up analysis.

Just a friendly bump. This is not a player to Sleep on. He has great ball hawk skills.

I see comments on Twitter and etc places saying we need to sign a ss to go along with fitz new contract. And we don't because we got kazee.

He is a great signing. I suspect we’ll see him playing more in the former Mike Hilton slot role where Maulet was only marginally effective last year. He’s a versatile player who can play that nickel spot and make plays vs. the run and pass.

    Ok what am I missing

I admit I do not know anything about him

It appears he has 12 interceptions in 5 years

Does that constitute ball hawk skills

To me i include those times he knew he couldn't catch it, so he tipped it excellent into the air to give them a chance.

He's no honey badger. But he's not a dud. You'll be happy we have him 70% of the season and the rest you'll just forget, but it won't be complaining.

@jeh1856 I'm going to look at some game film over the weekend. The negative you hear is after his dwi charge. And then failclowns hate on anyone that wants to leave. So if you go to look at anything go look back on his 18 season.

I think the cowboys are not in a position to sign anything. They got the 90s nostalgia that is currently en vogue and tried to have "the big three".

I'm not a fan of amari ( I know he's gone now) and think Zeke had a great online.
For current staff maybe pollard works better?!
