But Pickens is a monster in the Running game also....when completely healthy. I know.

Someone for ESPN says he could end up being the best in this class

DJ will line up there some too. Like adding a guy to the WR room. Hopefully he works out.

Exactly, you can't draft a RT early because he will come in and beat out Chuks in week 2 of training camp and then what do you do with that $30 million contract?

After Frisman Jackson worked Pickens out I knew he was going to end up being the pick. I also would have preferred Moore. Definitely seemed like a better fit. But at least a need has been filled.

You didn’t miss much, at least on NFL Network. They showed about 3 plays then stupid Schrager used up the rest of the time to go back and talk about the Eagles pick

    I promise...He's a hell of a blocker. N. Harris will appreciate Him.

I always liked seeing the post Draft Monday signings.

Dean keeps falling. Someone is going to get a good player and good value with that pick.

He is still calling for the Steelers to get Metcalf so anyone not named Metcalf is a reach.

Dean has abdominal issues and might need surgery. So he is dropping

    Yep.

Sorry I could not do my annual Optics Thread this season. That would have provided more clarity for which targets the team selects. Having a positional coach work out a player is a very good giveaway. Justyn Ross was the other WR that Frisman Jackson worked with.

Heck... I would not be surprised if the team goes for two WRs in the class. I personally would not but if the value is there... take him.

Yeah... What are they thinking? Not a fan of the Falcons draft so far.

Muma though still should be the pick. Heck, Beavers or even Christian Harris.

That said though, thank you for the update!! Very much appreciated!!

Some unflattering opinions of our new WR. Know what I see out of all this criticism? Top talent.

I loved this guy at ILB. He's an athletic freak. I was hoping we’d roll the dice on him

Put Claypool and Pickens outside and run go routes with DJ in the slot on a crossing route and PF on a seam. Scheme to get DJ open and force the matchup.

Christian Harris is soft as hell. A linebacker who plays with the intensity of a cover Corner. I'd be pissed if we took him.

The only major red flag is the maturity issues; something that the Steelers are no strangers to dealing with. Yes, Claypool had his moments last year but I do not see "Antonio Brown 2.0" in Pickens. For that matter, I am certain Tomlin has likely talked to him during Georgia's Pro Day about this and, even if he has not, will do so come Rookie Minicamp.
