There are now reports that Lefty may be out for a while with shoulder/rib issues. I watched his TD again, and it sure looked like he was doing a celebratory roll after scoring, and that started the injury. Brown taunted someone a few weeks ago when scoring, and most of the dances are just embarrassing. Wouldn't it be nice to be known as the team that has a policy of no celebrations? Just hand the ball to the ref.

    This!

But as far as celebrations...as long as its not some huge team thing or something that gets a penalty...who cares...let the guys have some fun for crying out loud. There is no problem whatsoever with celebrating something like that. Some people...

I dont think the poor guy had the ENERGY left to celebrate hence the tripping over his own feet...he just RAN 31 yards!! Regardless, I dont mind the TD celebrations as long as they are brief. The ones that get me are the one making a big deal over doing their job ie defending a pass or getting a first down. Just do your damn job and get back in the huddle!

I agree that the celebrations should be kept to a minimum (or not at all), but Lefty just fell.

Dion Sanders put it best regarding getting into the end zone on an episode of NFL Total Access a few years ago: "Act like you've been there before"

I think it's funny that Deion is telling players to act like they've been there before.

Ha...Deion was high steppin with his hand behind his head at the 20 yd line on the way to the end zone...how can he have the jewels to tell someone to act like they have been there?

Give me a break guys, it's already been dubbed the no fun league. As long as it's not excessive, what's the big deal. Lefty was just gassed and the klutz hurt himself.

The best celebrations are when the player scores a TD and does the worm, the Friday night boogie and riverdance followed up by a split when they are down by about about 3 TD's in the 4th qtr.
