Sorry 2 have made you correct.

 

Only a few actual franchise QB's in that list. Prescott, Wilson, Brady, Ben, and Ryan. Can argue that Ben and Ryan are just at the tail end and were just getting paid for who they were, not who they are. Ben was injured one of those seasons and on his last legs the other two. Ryan about done himself. Just goes to show how overpaid some of these guys are. Wentz and Goff are barely starters, and Cousins is a solid player, but not a top 10 QB (let along the 4th highest paid guy).

It also shows how many of the top QB's are young guys. Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Jackson, Burrow.... All guys that just haven't been in the league long enough to be top paid QB's. That list is gonna look way different soon.

 

Really wish those 5 youngsters you mentioned played for NFC teams.

 

Hell no....I want Jackson 2 stay in Baltimore.

I'll continue to make this argument. It's impossible to win with a franchise QB beyond their first contract because they're sucking up the bulk of the payroll.

 

Rodgers has 1 Superbowl ring. What's the point of having a Qb eating up most of the cap unless your name is Tom Brady.

 

I would say that History shows that. That's why only 3 Qbs in the last 30 something years have won a SB with the team that drafted them ....after 7 years. They just end up costing the teams 2 much.
