    Steelers fan since 1971. We lived near St. Louis and the football Cardinals were not very good in 1971. My older brother said he was becoming a Rams fan because he liked Isaiah Robertson. I said I will become a Steelers fan because I played defensive tackle in youth football, and I liked Joe Greene. He told my younger brother he would be a Rams fan, so they could gang up on me. Being a 10 year old and watching the Steelers play the Raiders on December 23, 1972 and Franco makes the amazing fourth down catch for the winning touchdown, sealed my Steelers loyalty for life.
