So if there is a contract issue. Would you trade for him? I don't know what it would take.

No offense to trubisky; because I do want to see what he has to offer, but Murray is a lot better. And the draft picks this year are garbage and Pickett isn't falling to us.

So if the trade was two first round picks. I have no problem with that. Because this year in the draft we won't be finding anything better. And maybe next year we could, but who knows. So for a proven QB in the NFL, I say that would bea no brainer.

Before someone ask about cap space. Just know we can move money around easily and have not done so. For instance turn Watt this year into signing bonus would give us more than enough.

Also the Cardinals said they're not open to trading him..... But you know, anything can happen.

I am not interested in taking on a player from another team who refuses to play out the terms of the contract that he signed. I don’t care who he is. I also see Murray specifically as a QB who is solid, but will likely be paid more than he’s truly worth because he’s on the fringe of being a “franchise QB,” and someone will need to pay him the going rate for a franchise QB to keep him happy and on the field. He’s not Mahomes or Allen, but someone will need to pay him like he is.

I'm not sure that Kyler Murray would be a good fit in the Pittsburgh November, December, January climate conditions so I would pass just on that principle alone. His whole life he has played in Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona as his home teams. That doesn't usually transition well to colder, brisk, inclement weather environments. Not saying it couldn't work but there is a chance he would not adapt very well.

I agree that he is probably much more talented than Trubisky or Rudolph though.

I do agree I don't like players who do not finish out their contracts. Since I live in Georgia I swear every couple years I would hear about Julio Jones demanding a new contract.

I agree he's not mahomes. But I don't think he wants their money. I see it as he's making 5 million this year and would like to be seeing around 20.

No, He had a complete meltdown in the playoff game against the Rams. The moment was too big for him.

Contrary to my previous posts regarding QB trades, I'd at least pick up the phone. If the Cards want a Wilson or Watson type trade, I politely hang up; if it's somewhat reasonable, I negotiate. But I'm definitely not calling Arizona to see what they want for him.

I Like Him a lot (except for His size), but We would not only be giving up a couple of 1st round picks , but also a hefty contract. I do believe He has brought up the Watson contract.....So that would be defeating the purpose of a cheap Qb for awhile.
So Let's look back at this.
    1. A player that already is causing problems with a franchise that specifically drafted Him for their coach, and has already put players around Him.
2.We will be Losing Draft picks.
    3. We will be Giving a big contract.
    4. While better than what We have(He's Small)
    5. Has faded at the end of every season.
    6. I feel like I'm forgetting something, or leaving something off.
So after all that.....I would say ......No ....Stay away.
Great Question though....because I have also been thinking about it.

I am really hoping they do not have to break into Watt's Piggy Bank this year.

So Aaron Rodgers. Wilson, Watson, every single vet QB that has an issue with his team and they're spoken about here as if the Steelers would be interested. No thank you

The click bait articles have paired us with everyone. This showed up.ony FB feed, for fun a couple of the educated fans comments from there.

The cards should just tag him (this year) , let him sign and get 2 firsts.

I think we should draft the Cleveland QB since the Browns don't want him.

Sigh. Why is the crap even on this board. Lol

Why sign Murray? Just wait for Mayfield, another overrated top overall pick, to be cut and we get the same.

Steelers have overwhelming shown they have no interest in these high priced/baggage QB’s.
