Hey we can always bring back Paxton Lynch to have 3 first round QBs on the team. I see he was released by his Canadian team last month.

Oops, I spoke to soon. He was just signed by the USFL Michigan Panthers.

Are You asking should they..., or would they???
Being that We were 24th in total D, and 32nd in rush D yes they should....especially since We've by way of FA...have brought in a Qb, 2 OLine players, and a Wr. JMO

I don't think he overwhelmed anyone but isn't Karl Joseph our current strong safety? As I remember correctly, I was drooling over him as a possible steeler back in the day...... he hasn't had a full season with us.... isn't he at least serviceable until we find a better option?

Yes, I will agree that we shouldn't draft a QB this year (and should try making it happen with Trubisky/Rudolph/Haskins) until next year..... the front office has been pretty openly projecting a possible QB draft pick with their pre-draft meetings so far.

Yes, but if they thought He was actually the starter.....would they even put up an offer 2 T. Edmunds, and try 2 get the Honey badger???

Well, sorry, not sorry for taking Ojabo, but there are plenty of good alternatives for Woolen.... Watch out though... One of those alternatives may be in play if I ever get to make the dolphins' first pick

I'm not going 2 lie. I have been scrambling for players, and everytime I got one I like. Someone takes them, or has already taken them.
I wouldn't make a very good GM. I'd be calling up other teams saying ....Hey You can't have Him. LoL

I still like him. He has the intangibles and skills to be a good QB. He has improved every year. Getting him in the second would be a win.

We should start compiling a list of potential 3rd round picks..... Steelers coming up soon.....

so if I were to appease the "we need a safety" crew..... my next safety on the board is Nick Cross S, Maryland...... because we all know how much Tomlin loves Maryland products.

Wideout? Maybe David Bell, WR, Purdue

and how about Nicholas Petite-Frere OT, Ohio state

Those are all possible choices for the Steelers 3rd round pick. It all depends on what you think is the teams greatest need or best player available.

I just double checked, Fortner is still available. It was his teammate from Kentucky Darrian Kinnard that went first in the 3rd round.

You are correct. I saw interior lineman Kentucky and did a bad. My apologies. Nice list, btw.

Couple weeks from the draft and the Steelers still have no starting safety

Unless Bryan Cook is nabbed in the next couple of picks he would be the next logical safety pick.

It is really more of a personal preference. The Cinnci D has soo many prospects that it is easy to get know the players on that defense.

I have been watching a lot of film on Cook and I really like him as a player. He plays the game with intensity. Dude can hit and cover. Kind of reminds me of Lee Flowers in a way, but a little better in coverage than Lee.

Nick Cross. I have not studied as much. I watched a few highlights on him, and that was a while back. I felt like Cook was overall a better player, and I am not sure that Cross is as good in coverage as Cook is.

I also think Nick Cross can be had in the 4th round. Cross is from Maryland though, so who knows?

Will we even get to the Steelers pick? It's been over 24 hours since the last person made a draft selection.
