I thought he might have a salaried sideline assistant coach job with the Steelers but a full time gig pays better

I still at some point expect to see him back on the Steelers side line wearing a golf shirt and coaching

Yea. I definitely see a headset on him someday, whether with the Steelers or at Tennessee (the college).

Dobbs is a brilliant kid. He will be in the coaching ranks someday.

He seemed to be B.R.'s woobie the last few seasons. No reason to keep him around anymore, I suppose. With his brains and education, Josh Dobbs will do just fine in whatever it is he chooses to do after his playing career.

 

He’d likely have a better chance to see playing time with the Cleveland QB carousel

Right now he can just make a lot more money even at vet minimum

Oh no, poor guy. Are some of you going to start hating on him and calling him a traitor for signing with the Browns as you did with the James Harrison and the Patriots?

 

He has 2 be sorely missed 1st. LoL

 

He had a visit with the Patriots but left without signing.

 

I am to lazy to even look or care lol. But will a post June cut help his cap hit or is it all this year. That's an insane amount to eat.

Good move by the Browns. They wouldn’t have to change the offensive scheme if Watson cannot play. This is similar to what the Ravens have with Jackson and Huntley. If anything, we should have released Rudolph the statue and kept Dobbs if our plan is to go full in with Canada’s scheme

And he never will.

 

Did Dobbs sleep in meetings? Did he become a complete ass to his teammates?

 

He just met with them. They either didn’t offer him a contract or he turned them down.
