Absolutely ridiculous. Ridder probably won't even be drafted in the first round.

Could probably get Ridder if we traded up in the second from 52 to 40.

If the Steelers trade up to #12 to draft Ridder, you guys won't be hearing from me anymore because I will no longer be part of this world.

The Steelers should definitely see if Kansas City wants the #20 pick, they have 12 draft picks, no way are they going to keep all of them.

I can see him going at the very end of the 1st round to pick up his 5th year option.

If the QB turns out to be the real deal, it will save the team over 20 million that last year.

That's where the value chart falls short. They have 2 firsts and I believe 2 seconds. That holds at of value, they can just throw point value to the wind if they really see a guy they want, or not.

We should only consider trading back if our coveted guy is already gone ...or we calculated our guy will still be there at a lower pick

if it was me, trading up in the 2nd is where i'm going. jalen pitre is the target. maybe it can be done with our 2nd and a 6th. or better yet our 2nd and a 7th. probably won't happen but that's what i would like to see them do.

Pro Football Draft Networks descriptions of Pitre are "Heat seeking missle" "Violent Tackler" "Torrid speed". Last season for Baylor he had 18 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 7 passes deflected, 3 forced fumbles and 3 fumble recoveries.
Last year he played edge, strong safety, free safety, corner and dime linebacker. The Draft Network said that he will slip to the second round because GM's don't know where to play him. They said the simple solution to that is play him "everywhere".

I like the idea of drafting a good OT and a good edge rusher or inside LB. If they can trade down and do that, I am for it. A mid round WR would be nice, they do well with those.
Realistically, there are enough holes that it will take several years to fill them.

They do so poorly at it that I cringe at the idea of them drafting a DB. Best to address that through trade or free agency.

The amazing thing is that this is their job and they get paid for spouting this nonsense. If a regular person was this bad at their job they would be fired after a week.

I don’t know… If we’re talking about it, then aren’t they doing what they’re being paid to do? They’re media, and not the accurate reporting kind of media. It’s all about views and clickbait, not proposing something plausible. That’s boring.

I wouldn't go too high for him in the second either. He needs lots of work.
