I've never watched Titanic and I absolutely refuse to. It won best picture the year L.A. Confidential SHOULD have won. Makes me sick.

    Pretty Woman. Puke.
    Dirty Dancing. No thanks.
Law Abiding Citizen. Not sure how universally loved it is, but a bunch of people recommended it to me, and I hated it. Silly plot.
Anything with Jim Carey other than when he was on In Loving Color and the Andy Kauffman movie Man on the Moon. His over-the-top crap gets on my nerves. Same with Sandler. Happy Gilmore is funny, but when you've seen one Sandler movie, you've seen them all.

Dumb and Dumber is a classic that will never get old. But yeah, I can see people being annoyed with him. lol
Now with Sandler, the man can act. You should check out Punch Drunk Love, and Uncut Gems. Hes more than just fart potty humor.

i refused to watch Benjamin Button because i thought it was gonna be some feel good big budget movie. And then when i finally watched it i was actually pretty floored by how great it was. Not at all what i was expecting.

I haven't seen that one. I loved Se7en, Fight Club, and Zodiac. Didn't much care for Panic Room.

Hmmmm... I'm not sure of an answer here. Maybe I'm easily entertained, but most movies I can enjoy on some level, even if I think it's bad (but good).

And I can't count movies I refuse to watch for whatever reason. How can I hate it if I never saw it?

    OOPS! I got one.

Dune. The newest version. Visually, almost perfect. Everything else? Horrible. Such a let down. Such a waste.

Honorable mentions: Jerry Maguire, What About Bob?, The Twilight movies (I had 3 teenage daughters at the time. There was no avoiding it)

Special Honorable mentions (aka, movies my wife dragged me kicking and screaming to, widely praised and/or liked by... mostly women): The 50 Shades of BS movies, Brokeback Mountain and The Notebook.

I have never seen Titanic either. Everything on this list I hated....except the J. Carey, and A. Sandler movies...their adolescent humor makes me giggle. Sorry...I'm simple in the brain about their sometimes over the top humor, and I like it. LoL

Consider yourself lucky. Those are hours I'll never get back.

I'm not even against "chick flicks" in general. they're not my cup of tea, but not horrible. Those were just awful. (No. It wasn't the subject matter with Broke. It was a too long, drawn out, snail's pace, depressing, gloomy, soul sapping, tedious thing to get through)

Besides the over-the-top campiness of the original show, I always loved what Eddie Murphy said about Kirk in the "Delirious" special! "now, I ain't no racist but,........"

Obviously its not a movie but The Sopranos. I tried watching the first season twice and found it so boring I couldn't finish either time.

I Am Legend. It was my all time favorite book, at the time, and the movie butchered it. To this day I don't even know why they use the title because they ditched 95% of the story?

And Avengers: Endgame. I love Infinity War to this day and I was amped up for Endgame. Thought the first five minutes were brilliant and after they killed Thanos it went downhill from there.

You do know that was the like 4th, or 5th adaptation of the Book I Am Legend???
I think maybe the Omega Man(with Charlton Heston) may be the closest 2 the book, and it's not close enough.

While I can see it being cliche Fight Club being someones favorite movie, it is still one of my favorite movies of all time lol. I saw it right after school the day it came out.
And love Jim Carrey or hate Jim Carrey, Dumb and Dumber will never get old.
As far as super hero movies go, they are a cure for insomnia.
