In all seriousness I have to say Terry Bradshaw. He accomplished more. He won sb mvp, league mvp, first team all pro, led nfl in passing tds 2x, and was the starting qb of his Era on the all decade team. Ben never did none of this. He was never once the arguable best qb in the nfl. He also of course won more rings and went 4-0. Ben is great but it honestly isn't a debate.

Terry Bradshaw and Ben Roethlisberger are the only two options for debate in the greatest quarterbacks in Steelers history.

Absolutely true. And in Mashburn’s defense, he said Ben was the greatest and it was basically a tossup for number two between Bradshaw and O’Donnell. Not even close! In no universe is Bradshaw ranked lower than NOD on the Steelers greatest quarterbacks list. He’s no. 1 in my book with Ben coming in a strong no. 2. I may put O’Donnell at no. 3 because he got us to a Super Bowl but even that is very debatable.

At their peak I would go with Swann but the question is best in history so that indicates over a career

After that I would go with John Stallworth and/or AB

AB has better stats but the game has changed tremendously since Stallworth played and for AB stats were easier

Wait what? O’Donnell better than Bradshaw?
First of all I wouldn’t of justify that nonsense by putting O’Donnell as an option. Secondly I like some of his post, but he’s got to go.

Another stat comparison showing how much the game has changed: Career QB rating for Bradshaw 70.9; Career QB rating for Rudolph 80.9

He(H. Ward) is definitely My favorite. I just loved His complete game, but growing up Swann was My guy.
Just Like I think Ben was actually better....Bradshaw was My Guy.

Hines Ward was the epic and A #1 WR for the Steelers. Suffered through 2 #1 draft picks... Edwards and Burress. Through it all...he contributed to 2 Super Bowl victories for the Steelers. Ward = Polamalu= Faneca = Bettis = Roethlisberger. HOF worthy.

Greatest WR is probably between Stallworth and Louis Lipps for me.

With a good QB Lipps would have been a legend.
