I'm glad you had a good experience. I've never been in a union, but I have had almost 100% negative experiences with union workers in action. I'm sure its different everywhere, but the whole premise as a whole just doesn't do it for me. A political organization forcing membership for employment in the field that tends to promote on tenure instead of merit. I know there are some benefits to the downsides, but its just not how I would have things work in an ideal world (either for the employee and for the companies needing the labor).

I can only speak to unions in the construction industry in my area. You are definitely judged on how hard you work. If you’re lazy you will just get laid off.
You’ve got you mind made up so I’m not going to waste a bunch of time trying to change it.

For me all that **** don’t matter. They can endorse or expect membership to support whoever their guy is, but I’m going to do what I do regardless.

I hear ya but my experience was mostly in a law enforcement union and the Mrs. in teachers unions… both highly political.

you’d think law enforcement unions would be on the up and up but here in CA they just endorse the idiots that want to defund them, close the jails and prisons and pay addicts to slam dope and **** in the streets hahahaha

don’t even want to get started on the teachers union ****.

suffice it to say labor unions much better in my experience and others I know in em.

Don’t get me wrong, my Union endorses certain candidates. Sometimes I like the person and sometimes I don’t. None of it really matters to me though. I’m going to vote for who I want to.

I'd rather talk about Joseph. though based on how little he saw the field this past season, I doubt the signing means much.

Not that I don't have strong opinions regarding unions. I just don't imagine that conversation going well for very long.
